Alysa Liu's TV Appearances

Brief preview clip that aired on the TODAY Show earlier today that also mentions she will be featured on NBC Nghtly News tonight: https://twitter.com/MorganRadford/status/1089929363984957441
#AlysaLiu just became the youngest American figure #skating champion at just 13 years old! But she’s so young she can’t compete yet on the international stage. Watch her on @todayshow Tuesday — and I’ve got more on her incredible journey tonight on @nbcnightlynews.
Promo for tomorrow's appearance: https://twitter.com/TODAYshow/status/1089865663886307331

Alysa should be on Today in a few minutes.

ETA: She was really cute, seemed comfortable in front of the camera. Her Dad also was interviewed. Sweet family.

Thanks for the links to the interviews. She is adorable.

One thing I noticed about Tara at 14 was that she was so very articulate.

I hope Alysa gets a little schooling in use of "yeah" rather than yes, and little things like that.

I disapproved of the hype surrounding Alysa, possibly because of the confusing is it tax deductible or not? fundraising push pre-US Nationals, until I saw her skate. My head was turned by her skating giftedness and then I loved her more when I saw how well she is handling herself in off-ice interviews. She's charming both on ice and off! I wish her well!

Does GoFundMe help defray the cost of the agent? Does the agent help to prep Alysa for interviews, such as “Make sure you mention Kwan at least once in every interview...”? Beware of phony baloney. I don’t mind her skating (good tech without artistry) but I don’t care for the contrived circus.
