Who knows, Gracie may not feel she’ll be ready a month earlier than her current assignment. She may also want to comeback gently, not gang busters, no matter how much fans may be jonesing for a big comeback.
With this list, that's probably the best way to make predictions. But off the bat, I'd say Angela Wang, since Starr Andrews is already on SA roster.
The votes for Gracie are sentimental wishful thinking since she didn't skate last season and we don't know what shape she's in physically, mentally and motivation-wise. Yep, she's uber-talented, but as we know, in figure skating with all the depth these days, hunger, desire, and competitive fires have got to seriously be present in order to burn a path through the competition.
Amber Glenn has been actively competing trying to make a strong case with some strong scores. I guess we'll have to see if Gracie appears at a local competition or Senior B first.
I spoke with her dad at Philly last year and he mentioned that she had started college. The way he said it, I got the distinct impression was that was the last year that she would be competing and then her focus would be college. That was my impression but it seems to be looking that way.
I think there’s a reason Gracie is later in the season. I hope she spends some time getting smaller competitions under her belt. I don’t think debuting at SA would be good for her.
