Actually C/L would have gotten level 4 if not for the "Timing" issue on the last one (I think), they had the clear KP. Shibs 2nd chochtaw was a bit flat so they got 2 N's. And I'd have to rewatch the others too.

^From the dance hall thread... No idea where that can be seen. I am not an ice dance expert but was trying to see that and couldn't see that

I'm really worried for the scores tonight...I really hope they can top 118 because right now I have doubts after the SD.

Ugh. Agree :( I am going to be bald by tonight, lol. BUT, make no mistake - they were nervous yesterday. They skated so very very well considering this. I think tonight will be a BIT easier for them.
 
They've been getting Level 3s a lot this season on the circular step sequence. They've seriously worked on it. If they perform it as they did in that practice video from yesterday that's upthread somewhere and still get a Level 3, that's when I give up. It's not happening.
 
I will have to wake up at 4am to see them live, so I really hope the judges will make it worth it ;). Their FD will be awesome, it has to be after seeing their practice. I just believe that their hard work and their skills will have to be rewarded, there is no other way. (I don't know why but I'm strangely calm today. That will probably change in the upcoming hours ;))

If they skate the program perfectly & with the emotion they can they should be over 120 EASILY..if they do all that & only get 118-119 then I know P&C are winning & don't need to tune in later in the week..

I am with you though..I don't see them getting great marks tonight either..

Tired of certain users that are "fans" of "both" but have nothing good to say about V/M and are always propping up P/C. you know who you are.


Anyways, I hope they kill it tonight in the FS in the team event!

I never watched it but I was just wondering if it's true that V&M never really skated that well at the GPF..I heard that they had a little issue in the SD & then they didn't skate the FD as well as they can..is this accurate?
I was thinking maybe they did give some points away to the French team at that event & that is why they won..

Do you remember Nebelhorn trophy? this same technical panel was so generous in that competition . I think it was the best score that Penny and Nicholas got this season.

A union brother of mine brought his small daughter to nationals one afternoon, had no idea what to expect, and the thing he was most concerned with was leaving at 1:15 to catch the Falcons game. After the free dance he was texting me from across the arena about how awesome it was. Back in 2010 I got an IRC channel of fellow Canucks fans to change the station and watch a V/M OD...

Making ice dance fans out of sports dudes, one V/M performance at a time. :rofl:

I am hoping Virtue & Moir blow everyone away tonight with their gorgeous free skate..then I am expecting the judges to totally ignore the performance & give them shitty marks:rolleyes:..hope I am wrong..
 
Ohh Tessa has a new dress...love the colour and cut..just not sure about the sparkles but I will reserve judgement till I see it in action!
