Well I’m trying to be not too pessimistic because the tech and judging seems to have been harsh across the board. However, it feels a lot like Sochi, where they dinged them on a technical basis in the SD, and 4 years later, despite lots of replays, no one has specifically pointed out which section of their SD actually merited the deduction. Add to that the creator of the Finn Step actually saying they had the better SD!

I feel that potential controversy was largely ignored because by the American media because the top team was American and so the media had their blinders on. This might not be the case this time if something fishy happens in the individual competition.

This program is fine........but Hip Hip Chin Chin would have killed an Olympic audience.

Can you imagine if last year’s SD theme was the SD this year. Prince would have definitely been a huge hit.

It's been 4 years and I still can't tell you in absolute terms what went wrong with that Finnstep. It can only have been Scott missing a clear inside edge on one of the KPs, because all the other KPs are unmistakeably clean as a whistle on the NBC broadcast, but even now I couldn't say with certainty that he did miss it. Marina thought it was clean at the time and so did I.

B/S got a Level 4 on their NtMiSt right? Maybe we need to compare them.

I don't really understand why the ISU wouldn't promote the hell out of them. Look at the reaction they get every time they step out on the ice, wherever they are in the world- they're rockstars, and very much up there on the GOAT list. Any PR team would tell you to push your recognisable faces. Tennis doesn't go round selling like, Kevin Anderson and Pablo Carreno Busta.

I didn't see anything wrong with it, in fact on first glance I was marvelling at how much better it was than everyone else's, but I was watching a European feed and the angle wasn't great for analysing her edges because Scott was in the way. The Shibs issues on the Choctaw I could see in real time. I always hated the Choctaw, it's so hard.

On another note, Tanith was amazing and she should commentate everything.

I think the ISU and the European, Russian and former countries under their sphere, want the gold back from North America and so they will do what they need to do that. Why else would the Spanish judge mark them so differently?

I think she meant the technical panel ie. the ones who call the levels.

I wasn’t sure about the dress at first but it looked great on the NBC cameras! The cut is really Latin and it is really blingy. Tessa implied in her interview with Martini there might be another dress for the IE.

I loved the cut of the new dress with her sexy thigh exposed.

Yeah I don't think that is B ESP because Robin Cousins is commenting for them & she was not there lol but I was interested that the woman thought it was not the best they had performed it, she seemed to notice a trip from Scott too near the end?

Does anyone know if you can watch the press conferences from the Olympics online? I know that Tessa and Scott did one after the SD and I would really like to watch it.

Did anyone else notice that the TES box on the screen briefly showed an 'x' for their rhumba pattern section? It was quickly changed to yellow, but there was obviously something wrong that most of us didn't see.

I wonder if Tessa is using the costume from their documentary. It was a red one with cutouts in the front and I don't think she has used it yet.
