Yes, I too like her work with Kevin. I also agree that Shae choreographs to the skater and their personality and skill set.
I think many other choreographers tend to do programs that they themselves would like to do.

I completely agree with this! I would love to see Max Aaron work with Shad-Lynn. I think Max has a lot of strengths in his skating that his choreography is trying desperately to hide. I remember him at 2013 world and he had such a presence on the ice, a real "it" factor. While I appreciate his quest to become more artistic, I think he has somehow lost himself.

It'll be interesting to see if Righini and Yee's new programs will be ready by Nebelhorn (Yee will likely have an additional 2 competitions in August at Asian Open and Southeast Asia Games to prepare).

Often it takes more than one collaboration between choreographer and skater to hit their stride, especially when they start with a short, concentrated period and then maybe have a touch-up months later.

Unless the coach understands the program and is bought into it, adding back the complexity as the skater learns new elements, gets back stamina, learns to pace it, that's not a recipe for the skater representing the program.

There's a reason why the Chinese Pairs spend so much time with Nichol.

Ivan Righini posted video of his SP in 4 clips:
Starts with "Reel Around the Sun" (quiet part only) from Riverdance: https://www.instagram.com/p/BTrAY9-FASk/?taken-by=barielloivan
It sounds like most of the program is to "Warriors" from Lord of the Dance by Ronan Hardiman:

Just saw this on Twitter:

Shoma Uno released his program for next season.
SP:"Winter" from "The Four Seasons" by Vivaldi
FS:"Turandot"

I wonder if Turandot will have new choreo?

Not a big Shoma fan anyway, but what a boring line-up. Winter is hard to pull off. It takes a subtle musical sensibility like Kostner or Lambiel to find the nuances in all that fast sawing.

I think "The Impossible Dream" will most likely be the climax of the program where Javier will do his choreographed section. It's way too sweeping and soaring to be ignored in a Man of La Mancha program...if he is indeed skating to that.

Mozart's Don Giovanni perhaps?

Pang/Tong won the 2010 World title + the free skate the 2010 Olympics with the MoLM program by Shae-Lynn.

My favorite Man of La Mancha memory is Alissa Czisny's exhibition from Nationals in Spokane. I can't find a copy of it, but here is one from COR.

The music is plenty powerful in any arena even without Impossible Dream, though of course, an LP would be longer than an exhibition piece and likely have a variety of music. Still, Javi skating to the actual song Man of La Mancha could be so perfect in my opinion.

(Of course, I am biased because my first trip abroad was to study in Alcala de Henares--Cervantes's birthplace).

I can totally see Javier killing it as Don Juan.

The "Don Juan de Marco" soundtrack is actually really nice... and of course includes Bryan Adams' "Have you ever really loved a woman?" As for "Man Of La Mancha", my favourite was definitely Katarina Witt skating to Linda Eder's version.
