The ALL NEW Youtube thread!!

Absolutely true regarding Evy Scotwold. I mean, who the hell was he as a skater? A Nada. A nothing. He's always been snarky about skaters that weren't in his stable. When he said that about Elaine, he was just being himself, an ahole.

Amen! Evy said some really crappy things about Tonya pre and post whack that always got me ticked off.

In all of its disastrous glory (or glorious disaster):

Laetitia Hubert -- "Prostitute on Heroin" LP, Cup of Russia, 1998 I don't think I've ever seen this version before. It's a bit better executed than the Skate Canada and Lalique versions, but the death scene is truncated.

Laetitia Hubert -- "Prostitute on Heroin" LP, Trophée Lalique, 1998 IN COLOR Actually, I kind of like the charm of the grainy black and white version that used to be up on Youtube, but it's interesting to see it clearly, in color, and with her marks.

And for those of you who haven't seen it, the Skate Canada version.

Thanks for the CoR and Lalique versions. I so miss the 90s voidy ladies...just cannot imagine any of the current crop daring anything that would come close to that.

I have always liked this woman,
but now I LOVE her!

Yey, 50 min. long documentary about Denise Biellmann!
Sorry, no subs, all in Japanese,
but still you can enjoy lots of nice clips & pics!
Yes, they do mention about the original russian skater who did the Biellmann spin first.

I am sure she is very proud of this documentary.
Go, Denise!
You will be famous not only for the spin
but also for the longest professional career as a single female skater!

Rahkamo and Kokko did a music video for the band Enigma for the song "Beyond the Invisible"

Here's the official video:

and here's R&K using the rest of the dance in a Pro competition:

I remember I was so much impressed when I saw the Enigma's video for the first time. I didn't know that full dance is existing. That's so funny :D. I wonder if Natalia Pavlova was inspired by this when she got an idea for T/M's exhibition number. Their "Ameno" reminds me of R/K's dance a little, especially costumes:

2001 Junior Worlds Exhibition Finale

I just recently discovered this  gem, so I apologize if it's already been discussed. It's the exhibition finale with all the top five skaters at 2001 Junior Worlds. The finale is set to "She Bangs" by Ricky Martin  and features some great dance moves by Evan Lysacek (in neon green), B/A (she in pink dress, he in black), Stephane Lambiel (silver and black shirt), Johnny Weir (yellow and black vest), Danil Barantsev (all black), and others.

Yeah, they took it down because of the wind it up song. :blah: That's ridiculous but I don't want to get this account closed too so I'll just move along and upload the next one!

Anett Poetzsch - 1980 Olympics SP

I am with many others in saying that it was not so much that Poetzch beat Fratianne in the overall placement that was the problem with the Ladies competition at the 1980 Olympics, it was that she should have been behind other skaters in the short program.

The 80s were notorious for holding up favourites.

Just look at Denise Biellmann placing second in the short at 81 worlds with a double toe / double loop combo.

I know I've asked for this somewhere in the past and still can't get to see it.:(
Has anyone a clip/ video of Olympic 1994 Lillehammer Dance podium.G/P U/Z and T/D.I've already searched YT on many occasions with no luck.

Many thank's if you have it .:)

I think the videos for Sandy Lenz and Dagmar Lurz's SPs were posted earlier and the consensus was that both deserved to be ahead of Annett. Correct?
