Lulu doubled the loop again, and also the 2nd lutz, am wondering if this is possibly planned? Maybe they're pulling back on the triple jumps a bit?

I was in church so missed the first group but got home in time to see Miclette. A good skate until the double axel right there. Nice to see her trying a harder triple triple combo with the flip.

I checked the protocols from nationals and she was not attempting a triple loop there so I think the double loop, at least in the short was deliberate.

Also back from church, hopefully I didn't miss everything! (I did miss Miclette though. :( )

ETA: Of course I've arrived home just in time for the zamboni. The break between my first and second mass this morning was perfectly timed so I had to leave just as the first skater was taking the ice. Who came up with this schedule? #priorities

Tuning in for the last group.

Really rough for Lia Pereira. Seemed to rush throughout.

Also rough for Rose Theroux. She looks like a combination of Anna Shcherbakova and Kimmie Meissner.

She really does! I was trying to think who she reminded me of, but I think you nailed it!

She also skates like someone who has recently gotten taller - a bit flail-y and not totally in control of her long limbs. I hope that's something she can work on, because I did enjoy her despite the mistakes.

Ok, I love Hetty Shi! šŸ¤©

Assuming she didn't just turn 13 in the last few weeks, she should be old enough for the JGP. It would be nice if she got a spot.

Fournier and Haddad must be skating to a soundtrack of some sort- otherwise it's a very random of assortment of music (Fortunate Son? really?). He really needs to work on his twizzles.

Did I blink and miss a team in the first group? I didn't get scores for Batka & Yang - did they skate?

Forrest Gump. :)

Cinema Paradiso soundtrack (Ho/Yu's FD music) never gets old for me.

No. They're a new team - perhaps FD isn't ready yet?

They were all ready to announce the next group to warm up and then announced that they would restart at 3:10 p.m. Perhaps something to do with the missing team from the first group and trying to maintain the schedule?

OOPS - the negative power of the headband, I'm afraid, for Michael Barsoum :(
