Lulu goes into first ahead of Abbie, she had a cute program and stayed clean on her lutz.

Lulu Lin had another good skate, though her combo wasn't quite clean (triple toe triple toe in the second half). She's skated well a few times now so I'd be surprised if she didn't get one of the final JGP spots.

Be interesting the long. Some of the advantages for those who have grown like Abbie is bigger cleaner jumps now. Hopefully same will happen to Lulu. I hope she gets a JGP I hope a few of them do.

Good to see our young Canadian women starting to show some consistency. And Lulu's only 13, going to be fun to watch her progress.

This is the most stereotypical ice princess dress I’ve ever seen AND I LOVE IT.

Katherine Karon was lovely. A little stiff on the triple lutz but she stayed upright and got the double toe in.

Her posture and line need work, but wow Elise Dawson has some truly effortless glide across the ice.

You just can’t count her out she is so strong lol! Maybe the change to Mariposa has relaxed her a bit, this is actually quite good she is skating so much more relaxed

That was certainly a step forward. Still a bit stumbly in places, but generally good. Spins looked good too.

I wandered that too, makes it sound like she won’t be doing sectionals? Another skater who struggled after she had grown.

Kukulowicz seemed to have a good skate with a triple lutz combo and a triple loop. She caught my eye a couple of years ago in juniors. 51.76 is a good score for her.

Yeah it often reverses the order of the jumps on the tracker LOL. It's happened at all the Canadian streamed events this year LOL

This program is approximately one thousand steps ahead of either program last year.

However, as a next step I would tell her to spend all her free time with Moir, Hubbell and co and work on all the details and have them drill skating skills with her. But that looked pretty good for this time of the year.

This is so weird. For me the main index page URL ends with "&hideVideo=true&lang=en" and the video links aren't there. If you take that part out, they appear. Anyway glad we have easy access to all the videos now.

Wonderful job by Maddie for her first competition of the season! She looks so comfortable with the program already. Also the dress (@DE93 - it's not all black! ).
