We have novice 2 coming up weird they would put it at the end. In Novice group one Quinn Startek won, she is yet another from the Hamilton Skating Club (Bryce & Jen) only 9 or 10? She also medaled at Cranberry, another up and comer to watch develop. Her presentation reminds of Kaiya when she was in Novice/Junior.

Wonderful job by Maddie for her first competition of the season! She looks so comfortable with the program already. Also the dress (@DE93 - it's not all black! ).

Junior free dance is starting in the Optimist's Rink. Sabatini-Speciale/Buelow (the leaders after the short) WD.

I continue to be impressed by Gover/Wilson French's Beauty and the Beast. It's very charming and it's very well designed to camouflage their weaknesses. ETA: I wasn't kidding -- they move up to first with four teams to go! They were 9th in the RD, and now they'll be no lower than 5th.

I actually have liked Sophie and Axel the best so far but I’m not a dance technic. I think they were the novice Canadian champs? Plus he has a great name lol. Seems we have a lot of depth in the Junior division.

Seems to be a delay with the scores. Nice coach cam of Carol Lane bouncing up and down by the boards while Goodstadt/Bennett wait for their turn.

Shame for Breken she started off strong with but finished her program early I believe she forgot a section?

Wow Lulu Lin that was amazing a clean program with lutz and triple triple. Such a great program for her just makes me smile. Please send her out on a JGP!

Great free skate from Lulu Lin! We'll see if she gets credit for all her triples but she did seven of them, a stepout on her triple salcow the only obvious error. She always looks so joyous out there too.
