Why don't you guys like Scott?

PTSD from his commentating days - which is understandable, I've got that too.

But, really, when you look at his achievements as a skater & his continued contributions to skating & philanthropy, honoring Scott with the Lifetime Achievement Award is great.

Years of him screaming at us as a commentator. Also proselytizing.

There wasn't any. He was a little rambly, but he was just talking about the Olympics and the costume he wore, before the kid came out in a replica of it.

I don't like his bias towards American skaters in commentary and causing needless controversy. I also don't like the coded comments on skating to be more like a "sport" with the not-so-hidden subtext that it needs to be more masculine/straight. He supports politicians I believe are genuinely terrible people.

I like the concept of the young skaters introducing each season of the skating year with skaters assigned to each of the seasons in the program. Winter will be the gold medallists.
