No idea how I guessed the flagle. Not one that I'm familiar with, but I picked a general region and just stuck with it.

Globle really got me today. 21 guesses. No countries were coming up as anything other than pale orange. It was a stroke of luck that I finally got it in as few guesses as I did.

I almost don't care for wordle anymore.

I can't remember the last time I didn't get Wordle, which kind of takes all the fun out of it. Heardle was and is my favorite, in part because I don't know the songs about half the time (definitely not the case today ).

I am very annoyed with myself for not getting Worldle in one today, as I KNEW I recognized the country but couldn't think of what it was.

I felt pretty lucky to get globle in only five today; they seem to specialize in countries that are equidistant from a regional reference point or share a border with a country that has ten other bordering nations.

I also get thrown off when it's a territory rather than a proper country. Based on the shape, I knew it had to be a non-volcanic island and landed in the right general vicinity, but everything I could come up with including my first guess was a territory. I guess I should be thinking along the lines of FIFA teams since they seem to break countries into their components.
