I knew I wouldn't be able to resist this game.

I usually play Quiddler each day, which is much faster: https://www.setgame.com/quiddler/puzzle

Now I have a new game to add.

I had a similar experience to @text_skate with 229 - off to a great start and then next guess I see that it could go several ways. Got it in 4, but it wasn't as much strategy as just running through the possibilities.

I don't remember exactly. I had 100% on solving puzzles, but I was more attached to my solved-in-two record of five. I am much more likely to go to four or five before I get it.

Sorry to hear that Prancer! I like seeing my little record too

One feature I wouldn't mind is a percentage on number of tries by other solvers. Obviously it would not be complete until a full 24 hours is up, but it still would be interesting to know if I got it faster than most, or average, or if I'm all excited about a result only to find that most of the world got it faster than I did!

So far I'm 33/33 in solving, but more than half the time it's been 4/6. Today was only my second time getting 2/6.

I figure:

If you get the correct Wordle answer on your first guess, that's pure dumb luck/coincidence.

If you get it on the second guess, you were smart/skilled enough not to make a mistake, but you were also either lucky enough that that day's word just happened to be one that had only one common word that fit the information you got from your first guess, or lucky enough that there were several possible answers that fit the given information and you happened to choose the right one first.

By the third and fourth guesses, your skill/strategy in gathering information with the earlier guesses and applying it logically plays more of a part than mere luck, to allow you to get the correct answer that quickly.

I’ve played 23 times so far and won them all, most in 5 guesses but a few number in 4 guesses And 3 guesses. I’ve never gotten it in 1 or 2.

Since I lost my tally when I cleaned my history, I just scrolled through this thread and popped mine all over to Excel.

19 times since January 19. Only 2 times I didn't get it at all. (89.4737%). 3 in 3 words, 8 in 4 words, 4 in 5 words, 2 in 6 words. And one day I forgot to do it.
