Little too early to tell. I think we'll have a better idea once we see Triple A make it through the summer. Obviously, starting off it will be Alina but if the newbies show up in the same form they were in this season, I feel like everyone is going to be left in their dust. We already know there will be very little to no gap in PCS (because that scoring is bullshit and doesn't even matter anymore) so with them having huge tech scores, it won't take long for them to catch up to/pass Alina and everyone else.

Point is Alina winning worlds this year may have been lucky for her as there is a good chance she may not even make it to worlds next year with those three crowding the top.

She's got the full gold medal compliment. She doesn't have to continue unless she just wants to. She can go to school, go pro and make $$$$, do whatever she wants to do now. She has nothing left to prove to anybody if she walks away from competition. I would if it were me.

I'm sure leaving Gubanova off the list was just an oversight. Of course, I'm hoping she can find a relative in Kazakhstan and help Tursy use up those extra spots she earned today.

I hope Zagitova retires....she has earned it!
My bet is that the mighty Trusova might just be a little wigged out.....although she is deadly fierce.
Medvedeva is so seasoned, and healthy, she will win.
