NOTE: There will be no Gala at Skate Canada
There will be two Stream & TV programs the following Saturday November 8th afternoon and late-night but no idea if they will be repeats or 'new' tape-delayed content.

The Dailymotion coverage is what CBC Sports will be streaming, according to Ted Barton.
Oh misread that - streaming makes sense and it appears they have blocked access to ISU YouTube coverage in Canada as usual. But will the usual TV crew of Kurt, Carol and Brenda be on the CBC Sports TV broadcasts, (which also stream - just to add to the confusion)?

There seem to be some listings for tv coverage on the CBC site -3:30pm ET on Saturday and 3:00pm ET on Sunday.

Yes there are - matches the three links I posted that start with "CBC Sports: Skate Canada 2025 - Saskatoon (Stream and TV)"
My question is if those programs will have the Ted Barton version or a separate Brenda, Carol & Kurt etc version

It's unclear but if I had to guess - the live CBC/Daily Motion stream will be Ted and company. And the TV broadcasts wth Kurt and company will be "highlights" shows. CBC's Devin Heroux had posted on Bluesky that he was headed to Saskatoon to cover Skate Canada (presumably for the skater interviews), but thanks to the Blue Jays' win last night, he's doing special baseball coverage instead.

Rob Brodie on Substack - article on Piper and Paul from Saskatoon:
Thank you for posting. I do not like their rhythm dance costumes, has anyone seen a practise? I would love for Piper and Paul to do well this season….

I just don't understand the costumes and the fact they are in white just compounds my dislike. I don't usually have such strong reactions to costumes but I have feelings with these ones. Piper has such unique personal style that I just had very different expectations based on the music and what I assume is the theme.

At this point I can only hope they approach this like the Barbie RD and we get costume changes at each event

Hello from Saskatoon. Piper and Paul practiced their rhythm dance in their run-through yesterday. I'm in no technik but I thought they looked fantastic in the twizzle sequence and other elements they performed. They skated through some parts; I didn't see any of the fun tricks, flourishes and highlights they are known for but I'm hoping they're saving these to be unveiled in competition. I LOVE their music! It starts with Right Said Fred and is heavy on the beat and it really grabs you. I agree with you on the costumes. They are low-key by their standards. I was hoping for something more flamboyant. Anyway, I'm excited to see their full program tomorrow. :cheer2:

I also really enjoyed LesGacs. Their free dance is fun. I really hope they make the Olympic team.

On a more positive note Piper has a few clips on her instagram story and her FD dress is gorgeous !
Sounds like the same singer/music so I went to rewatch their original FD and at least in the clip she posted they use the curve lift from Wuthering Heights and not the curve lift from the original FD so am optimistic is wasn't just a copy and paste from 2019 ( even though that was a very charming FD).

I saw a photo on fstw and Pipers dress looks like the one in the original music video.

Ok, I have to admit I do not know the RuPaul song, the nineties to me were Britpop and Grunge basically.

I think for me I just don't understand the reference so it just doesn't work.
Just saw a clip of them practicing the RD in different costumes which I like better and more what I imagined.
But there was a lot of stonework on the white ones so I suspect we haven't seen the last of them

And while on the G/P topic there are some more clips out there of their FD practices and as discouraged as I was when the reimagined versions was announce I am more positive now with what I have seen. Played them side by side with the original FD and there are nods to the original choreography, it seems to start the same but other bits have indeed been re-choreographed and highlight the improvements they made in this past 6 years. I like what I see so far.

No clean triple axel in practice from Sara-Maude this morning. Her attempt during her program run-through was pretty decent though! Just couldn’t hold the landing edge.
