U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

She's got a deal with Everlane, a clothing company. This promotional piece she did for them also has some video of her when she was little:

She might sow some divisiveness with this other Everlane video, though. She is re-reading "Where the Crawdads Sing." She managed to cross-promote Red Bull at the same time.

Everlane's latest Isabeau post (6 photos+clips):

Isabeau's collaboration with Everlane really shows a different side of her. She's absolutely stunning! It's crazy that her skating self seems to kind of tuck away her beauty.
I liked Isabeau's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" costume, but I think that most of her costumes are not very flattering. Maybe her "Cinema Paradiso" costume looks better in person, but on the screen it washes her out so that she doesn't really stand out from the ice and background. I wish she had a costume the same color as that Everlane blue hat and scarf. (She was wearing a very pretty sweater that color in an NBC puff piece the other day.)

Totally agree.

as far as the long program color … dark blue is one of my favorite colors…. baby blue, powder blue looks good on no one and nothing.

ITA. Amber's long program costume is one of my favorite costumes of the season. Isabeau's Everlane sweater, scarf, and hat are more of a royal blue, which is a color I really like as well. It looks good on her. The long program dress has a bunch of lace and sparkle, but it manages to look a bit drab on the screen.

Amber's long program costume is one of my favorite costumes of the season.

Yupppppp there’s a big difference between dark blue and powder blue,. Dark blue, so much better.

And I love both of Amber’s free dresses… while both do have a bit of bling that is key for me ….a bit…. if I skated my costumes would have have zero bling on them, I don’t like bling.

Favorite costume of all time is a Alissa Czisny blue doctor zhivago dress so elevated, sophisticated, no bling on it. The dress spoke for itself.

Kiira Korpi was another one that would do dresses without a lot of bling.

Totally agree.

Baby blue and powder blue can look great on some people - it just depends on your complexion I don't mind it on Isabeau, but I'm one of the small minority who likes her FS dress.

That was a gorgeous costume, but she was stunning in almost everything she wore for skating aside from that chartreuse and purple outfit when she won nationals. I think she was a lot like Kira Korpi or Madison Chock--women who could wear a bedsheet and make it look fabulous.

All I remember her in for Dr. Zhivago is the purple dress, which I liked :shuffle:

Can you post a link to a photo of the blue dress?

I would love to see any ladies skater get inspired by the dress Cyd Charisse wore in that scene with James Mitchell in "Deep in my Heart."

This is my favorite dress of all time

Clip from "My New Favorite Olympian" podcast:

First episode of the Olympic season is with Amber (Jan. 15; 24 mins.):

Amber has partnered with Bloom Nutrition:

I don’t like bling.
I thought I was the only one who didn't like all the bling. There is sooo much bling in figure skating.

Amber has partnered with Bloom Nutrition:
I love seeing her get more endorsements. I guess the energy drink companies like figure skaters. But, her sweater is the wrong shade of blue.

It's similar in color to the costume that Isabeau wears in her Red Bull promotions. She is yet again wearing the wrong shade of blue:

for what it's worth, the vid of amber's sp has been very popular on bluesky and reposted with lots of comments about how impressive it is and how they can't wait to cheer for her at the Olympics which has been very nice to see
Four of my favorite performances that I was so fortunate to watch in person in St. Louis (don't know how long NBC Sports will keep these videos up on their channel):

Amber's SP (amazing 3A & crowd enthusiasm at the end): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PVzWGPXr7k

Alysa's SP (2nd Nationals in a row she was exquisite in this program): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRpgXbZIbaU

Isabeau's FS (my favorite program of the night - so ethereal): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI1s9xsOfQU

Bradie's FS (my friend's favorite program of the night - gave it her all): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvl_gNR5KvM

To me, the saddest part of losing Alysa's Lady Gaga program is losing the dress. I just loved that dress and I was already very pleased with the MacArthur Park gold one. Hope the new dress will make me happy. :p
I'm not worried about her dress. She's working with Lisa McKinnon and all of the dresses she's designed this season for various women have been spectacular.
I don't care what dress she wears, just hope she loses the hair stripes. I know, I know, everyone's sick of hearing about the hair. But she really is the most gorgeous young woman, and the stripes don't show off how gorgeous she is.
It looked better once she went to a professional colorist and had it switched from the golden bleach to the whitened bleach, and I'd love to have her lose the stripes but I'm not sure there's time between now and the Olympics for it to be changed - that much coloring and work has probably fried her hair and it needs a serious rest.

Starr Andrews: "So incredibly proud of you Bradie!! You were so amazing and I was so happy to be able to skate in the same group with you❤️❤️"
Bradie's reply: "Thank you Starr!! I was happy we were in the same group too! We’ve been to so many nationals together and now we get to go to 4CC together too 🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻"

Audrey Shin: "honestly, you’re one of the strongest competitors i know❤️ i can’t wait to see you in china and im so excited to cheer you on at 4cc!! we can just cry, laugh, scream, etc - just feel all the emotions together!!!🥹"
Bradie's reply: "awww, Audrey!! I can’t wait 🥹🥹"

Ellie Kam: "You were literally so amazing so proud of you. Brought tears to my eyes🥹 Good luck at 4CC🥳"

I just came across this promo video - Meet Bradie Tennell | National Champion, Olympic Figure Skater | NOW Sports Hub Ambassador (Jan. 2, 2026): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nH__xjMfamE

National Champion, Olympic Figure Skater and #NOWAmbassador Bradie Tennell is poised for a big 2026 season and hopeful for a chance to skate in the Global spotlight. After injuries plagued her shot in 2022, Bradie has come back stronger than ever and ready to leave her mark on the ice this year and beyond. But even more so, she feels privileged to be a role model for young skaters and encourage them to push through the tough times and never give up. Learn more about Bradie’s training routine, from her mindset to her fuel, at https://www.nowfoods.com/healthy-living/ambassadors/bradie-tennell

I kept thinking of Bradie as I watched Europeans. If she were from any European country, she'd be going to the Olympics. I'm really happy for her that she skated so well last week and that she takes pride and joy in that and not just the placement. She's had an amazing season.

Except for Isabeau's LP dress. But, I'm really not worried about Alysa's new dress. If Alysa doesn't like it, she has a gold one. Maybe she'll use one of them for the TE and one for the individual. And color her hair in between. Keeping us on our toes.

I did, too. Not just going to the Olympics, but as reigning European champion as well.
