The shooting occurred in Tumbler Ridge, a remote community in British Columbia. The police said the suspected shooter died of a self-inflicted injury.

This is truly a tragedy.........I guess more will come out as to the why at some point

It’s a huge unthinkable tragedy for that community. Mass shootings just aren’t something we worry about. But to happen in such a tight knit community seems extra awful. It’s a very small and isolated town. They will be grieving for a long time.

I found out after that mr. mic’s stepbrother’s kids had moved there. We’re still waiting on word if their 13 year old is somewhere getting medical treatment or worse. I’m assuming it was chaotic last night and we’re not close so I’m hoping there’s been good news that just hasn’t filtered down to us

Update: We unfortunately got the news that she was killed. I’m in shock.
