The Courtyard is the official hotel. Evil woman is always on the front row bouncing from seat to seat as she is known to buy the cheapest ticket and sit in others seat until she has to move. OnSaturday she was in the far end (directly across the aisle from the flag family). She was above the Nutrafol sign.
I have had several conversations with USFS about her being allowed to inconvenience skating fans by never sitting in her own seat. And of course her insulting female skaters. She loudly announces “I like the boys”.
She was sitting in my row in San Jose and when I heard her say her vile remarks to Emily Chan I was enraged and went to the head of security who had her removed from the arena. She was back that evening.
With all that is going on in skating now you would think USFS would get a spine and get rid of her.
If she buys a ticket, how can they get rid of her unless she violates arena rules?? I don't think USFS can selectively determine who buys a ticket based on being annoying. If she's not sitting in her purchased seat, that should be security's issue, but, many of you move around and if they enforce it for one person, they should enforce it for all.

Pretty sure they can block someone from buying a ticket - DL has seemed to imply that there's a block on him being able to purchase tickets for any USFS events. But, I'd guess if she has multiple credit cards or someone purchases the tickets on her behalf and then transfers them to her that she could still get in, so it may not be worth the hassle.

I think she'd have legal recourse if she was refused a ticket just because. I also think Dave Lease is referring to being allowed in the press area. He was refused press credentials quite some time ago. I think he could also acquire a ticket to attend the event if he chose to do so. People scalp tickets all the time. It's not as if they are tied to photo IDs.

There are other people sitting today where evil woman sat yesterday, so will need to keep an eye out for today. She somehow always makes it to the front row so shouldn’t be too hard.

Yes, I'm sure Dave Lease could purchase a ticket. I seriously doubt he'd want to sit with "the paupers" though and isn't interested if he cannot attend the "pressers," even though he is not a legit journalist. The last time I saw him at an event, not long after TSL started, half the people seemed to be warm to him and the other half purposefully gave him the distance they'd give toxic waste.

I think it's reasonable to guess that USFS knows who the toxic lady is, but they can't manage their own toxic culture there in Colorado Springs apparently, so I don't think a paying customer is high on their priority list. :shuffle:

I think she's in front of the Nutrafol sign again today? At the far end, across from the flag people. She's wearing a brown coat?

Yes okay she is back where she was yesterday with the red Rosie and white fur coat with black striped. @Rukia since you wanted to see who she was. She’s on the far end short side directly across KnC

That is the area she was in at Worlds, if it's the same woman. She came equipped with a variety of fur(?) coats/jackets, bright outfits, and there she had a number of flags. She gave lots of "standing Os", seemingly to try to get on TV.

Yes that’s her she brought lots of different country flags this time around too. And has been giving lots of standing Os too.

I was one section over and up a few rows from her in Montreal. The flag jacket couple were in my section, IIRC.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure Dave was whining they wouldn’t give him free admissions so he could be trashy He shouldn’t have to pay to be rude and gossipy in his world.😂😂 just another reason he should be allowed to fade off social media and disappear

Now US figure skating could get a restraining order prohibiting her from having contact with skaters. They probably have to get it for about five or six skaters to keep her from all events, but that would serve her right if they had that restraining order she probably couldn’t get a ticket

Bleached blond, glasses (usually a color or sparkles), clothing is generally loud think sparkly pants, loud scarves, jacket generally some type of fur. Now, just to be clear, not Pitot’s coach, the other one.

I did want to pop in and compliment whoever thought of all the thread titles for Skate America. Fabulous.

I thought by the start of your description that Marjorie Taylor Green was there :). Sorry for the political reference. :slinkaway

Got back safely headed home now. Just like my arrival to Dallas tons of skaters on the same path lol. Guess Toronto is the hot spot?!

First ran into Donovan and coach at the United Lounge. They were on my flight.

Then saw Tim Dieck and later Olivia Smart I believe. Assuming no direct flights from Montreal to Texas so they all have to go through Toronto. They were on my flight.

Then saw Deniss which threw me off as he wouldn’t be headed to Toronto so I think? He was walking up and down on a call. Don’t think I saw him on the flight.

And finally had Riku and Ryuichi once again on my flight - guess we had an identical itinerary! I don’t normally go up to the skaters to chat em up as I’m sure they have it happen often, but Riku and Ryuichi were waiting for their luggage right where I was so I congratulated them on their win and mentioned how I drive past Skate Oakville every week and think of them as I pass! They were very kind and appreciative.

Great time at Skam! Debating now if I should go to US Nats too lol.

I saw a few of the IAM teams today at DFW when I was there for my flight! Had to book it in Atlanta to my next flight. istg I have that 'welcome to the plane train' schpiel memorized by now.

@Aaron MB Fan I'm sad we didn't get to say hi! Will you be in Halifax? US Nats is always a really good time. I'm not sure if I will be there since Mr Lanie is going out of town and I think gets back the 24th or 25th.

You go @jkl .

Re removing her from the arena, Major League Baseball has removed "fans" who harass players and/or interfere in the game and/or get nasty to other people at the game. (I'm not sure about other pro sports.) And most arenas have fine print in the ticket sales agreement about codes of conduct for people attending events, which usually includes not harassing performers or players.

The length of the removal depends on the arena and the event, but it can be for the rest of the event or for the rest of the season, for season ticket holders. So yes, Evil Woman could legitimately be removed from the arena.

Also most arenas have cameras all over the place, and some have facial recognition technology to ID people who have been banned but are trying to attend another event.

The Madison Square Gardenv entertainment group is in the middle of litigation right now about both the use of facial recognition technology and how far a ban can extend. It'll be an interesting case to watch.

That was exactly the case I was thinking of.

Banning attendees because they were disruptive, threatening, etc is one thing, but banning people because they dared to challenge the facility's business practices is....something else.

ETA: From the USFS Code of Conduct https://www.usfigureskating.org/sites/default/files/media-files/CodeofConduct.pdf
U.S. Figure Skating will not tolerate or condone any form of harassment (including sexual
harassment), misconduct, (including sexual, physical and emotional misconduct), bullying or hazing of any
of its members including coaches, officials, directors, employees, parents, athletes and volunteers — or any
other persons — while they are participating in or preparing for a figure skating activity or event conducted
under the auspices of U.S. Figure Skating.

This is the Code of Conduct for USFS members, but this is so broadly written that this statement should surely apply to audience members at events as well.
