Yeah, I saw hints in their post-Olympic interviews that they weren't going to do Worlds but it's still up in the air as to whether they'll continue after this season.

You really think? Alex's comments about their youth and "we could do five more" put me at ease. They haven't said a word about any alternative AFAIK, e.g., nothing about finishing college or anything. Personally I think they are ambitious and will want to go for Olympic gold. I always remember Alex saying a long time ago, "We really believe we can be the best in the world."Yeah, I saw hints in their post-Olympic interviews that they weren't going to do Worlds but it's still up in the air as to whether they'll continue after this season.

SOI... I am feeling the pull, despite the horrible trek to Long Island. I wonder if there's a helicopter....
Maybe this would be the best time for the Shibs to retire. They just had their great Olympics and achieved their lifelong dream of making the podium (twice!) and, with P/C likely staying in, it's highly doubtful they would ever beat them. They are both intelligent people in their twenties with college educations and they have endeared themselves to America... maybe it's the perfect time to move on to the next chapter of their lives.
Obviously, they will do what they want to do. Just sayin'...
