LOTF Update from Nobu: I just watched Daisuke’s new documentary film aired tonight. A lot of sneak peeks from the LOTF rehearsal. Venice is where they had rehearsal in LA. Meryl and Charlie appeared just for the media conference part, nothing new, and no rehearsal scenes from them yet, but we could see a bit of Meryl and Daisuke routine, performed by Meryl’s understudy/stand-in. It was an intimate dance and I just wonder how Daisuke will cope with it when he actually dances with Meryl. Oh, I really can’t wait to see the show!

According to articles and comments, the show was a big success. Show as a whole, but especially a personal success for Dai!

Words are not enough to describe how he found a new way to deliver Art and Emotions. Just look how amazing he is, almost a pro-dancer (with only two weeks and something of hard practice).

You're so right Pattina! It amazes me how comfortable he looks on the dance floor...like he's been doing it for years! If I didn't know who he was, I wouldn't be able to tell him apart from the pro dancers. I'm so impressed with him! Awesome job, Dai!!!

Quite right @Laura4 !! I cannot edit my previous post but indeed Dai had 3 weeks and something of practice: 2 in LA and then about 10 days in Tokyo. Nonetheless it an extremely short time if compared with his astonishing performance. Of course Dai has always been great in artistic/ emotional expressivity and now he has just delivered it via a new mean and without blades.

Today's matinee has just ended and again it has been a great success!!! GO DAICHAN!!!

Tv news on Premiere (very short videos - thanks to kind uploaders) The man with red shirt interviewed on the red carpet is Tetsuya Kumakawa san, world wide famous etoile and founder of Japanese K-Ballet, who is also Dai's good friend. I bet he is very very proud of Dai's perfomance.

I woke up with a smile yesterday morning thinking about the show. I am so happy and proud for Daisuke. It was gutsy of him to go study dancing in New York, but I had no idea anything like this would come of it. It just goes to show that beneath his humble spirit is a will of iron -- and of course all that talent. What will be next?
