Thanks

Really, I think the thanks should be from us, to you. If there was ever a fighting, determined, tenacious spirit, it is you. You have shown us what a precious a gift it is, to find the strength and courage to persevere and keep going, no matter what. :respec:
And you and Gerry, have the most incredibly beautiful and uplifting love story that I have ever seen. :rollin:
SOMEONE SHOULD MAKE A MOVIE AND THEN SKATERS CAN SKATE TO THE SOUNDTRACK. :D

(no Ed Sheran, Coldplay, or Michael Buble allowed tho... :shuffle:)

Thanks. I was supposed to have an ultrasound this morning but my tummy rebelled against all the water. So they will try again Monday.

Gerry is coming home tonight but I won’t see him until tomorrow. I’m so happy that he’ll be back again.

That’s all for now.

Welcome back Lee, I’m sure your new path and new normal is just beginning. So wonderful you can start the rehab journey, I remember with my dad the occupational therapists were amazing. You are a testament to the Canadian health care system.

Thanks for ťhe warm welcome.

Today I had an ultrasound to lòok for the source of some minor bleeding. Don*t know anything yet. Then I spent some time having a brace made for my left hand. Now i^m ready for a nap (and a better pair of glasses so I can find the apostrophe on this tablet).

I*m lòokong forward to watching skating this weekend, just wish I could be in Vancouver with everyone else instead of where I am! Oh, weĺl at least I can still watch.

Lee

I hope the minor bleeding stays minor!! Good luck with the new hand brace.

It would be so great to see your opinions in the PBP threads. Are you rooting for anyone in particular? I don't know how much you've been able to keep up, but here are a few Cliff Notes on the season thus far:

- Russian junior ladies are doing quads now, and some people are more excited about the junior GPF ladies than the senior.
- Japan has a new senior lady who can do triple axels (plural).(The US has one too but she's too young for international seniors.)
- Medvedeva moved to Canada (Cricket Club) and is having a hard time. Zagitova is struggling a bit too (especially since her coach limits her water intake) but still winning everything so far.
- There is a British ice dance team with a fabulous disco free dance, and most people here love Gilles/Poirier's Starry Night FD even though neither of those teams made it to the GPF.
- Papadakis/Cizeron aren't in it either (missed part of the season due to injury).
- Sui and Han have been out all season due to injury and James and Cipres, still gorgeous, are having a golden season.
- Nathan Chen is doing premed at Yale and still winning (as the announcers will tell you over and over). Hanyu is injured again, Boyang is struggling, and we haven't seen Javy who will skate at Euros and then retire. Keep an eye out for Kevin Aymoz of France.
- In Canada I don't think anyone is filling the boots of Patrick, V/M, D/R or Kaetlyn Osmond just yet, though three Canadians made it to the JGPF (Gogolev and Lajoie/Lagha). Daleman is taking a mental health break. Maybe WeaPo will burst forth at Nationals (we have seen their programs once, and they're great).
- In rule changes, programs are 30 secs shorter for men and pairs, GOE is now scored on a +/- 5 scale (instead of 3), falls and pops are being penalized more, and jumps have less margin for underrotation.

Happy watching and keep getting stronger! :D
