The Thank You Canada figure skating show that was planned for Thursday evening at Credit Union Place in Summerside, P.E.I., has been cancelled.

High winds forecast for P.E.I. Wednesday and Thursday meant event organizers were worried the Confederation Bridge would be closed to high-sided vehicles.

I think the issue was that they couldn’t cross the bridge to PEI at all, so no show and then obviously wouldn’t have been there to catch whatever connecting flight they had to Nashville. Kind of confused as to why they couldn’t have just left from Halifax on a flight, but hope they have a fun road trip
