I found that Gabby and Scott have the best chochtaw actually... more than just wide and everything, the way they do the change of edge is something it's "direct", there is no room for questionning if it can be flat from the exit (so no loss of KP). Look at their feet. I get that Tessa and Guillaume are getting all the love (or more like their partners can get some **** because online rivalry and you can have someone to go after - too easy) but that is fact checking, their technique is spot on.Maybe they just need to analyse and copy P/C's RhumbaDon't think Gabi's Choctaw is as wide as Tessa's and they're not always totally in sync, but I also don't recall them missing a key point all season.

I'm a skater too and the way both do their chochtaw, I would have dreamed of doing that.I've analysed the edges- I'm a skater. Hence why I said they hit their points, deserve their level, and there isn't a doubt about it. But in ice dance, I personally look for depth of edge and synchronicity over everything, and too often if you pause the video P/C's lines in that pattern don't match up (though that's a GOE issue). I know the choctaws are analysed for levels separately but I still look for them as a pair. A personal thing!

(I found them to have their lines very matching during the pattern, but we can have this conversation elsewhere because I don't want to bother people who don't want to talk about them here, and complain after)
I HATED the Choctaw. I was jealous of anyone who could do it without falling over.
Depends what competition- they were on at the GPF and way off earlier in the season. They've obviously worked hard at itAnyway I'll stop now!
Love the new dress but you can put that girl in a burlap sack and she'd look fabulous.
Remember that beige thing she tried for Mahler at some GP before Vancouver? They tried with the sack (she still looked good. It's a gift)Love the new dress but you can put that girl in a burlap sack and she'd look fabulous.
