As sad as I am for the end of this partnership, I'm relieved in a way that it was a health/injury problem that prompted this decision. One partner didn't dump the other for another skater and they did not part as enemies. I hope Nate recovers fully and Deanna finds the right partner as soon as possible.

I agree. I think the vibe all season in the kiss n cry was off - she seemed, on the surface, to be more invested in competing than he was. Of course, I could be wrong about that, but that's the vibe I saw.
