Just a report from a fan in the stands at Finlandia about Vanessa's mom & sister taking pictures of and cheering for all of the NA teams competing there EXCEPT M-T/M and very deliberately ignoring/excluding them. It was apparently very obvious and .

Wow, their definition is pretty broad. Great for the athletes to be protected in that manner, but wow, I could categorize 75% of the conversations I have ever had in business as bullying. No wonder I'm a mess....

Probably not a good idea. Because I myself didn't hear it first hand, there's always a chance things get a little distorted with every degree of separation. But if it was anything close to what I was told, it was seriously not cool.

Because why would you be frustrated by saying you have a spot locked up, otherwise? Especially if you were trying to intimidate or demoralize someone else? I'd think it would have been more like gloating.

Was she yelling into her cellphone, like people do all the time, and responding to someone else, who could have been telling her that she'd blown her chance by withdrawing, but not understanding the non-Can Nats criteria?

Yes, they could've...or they could've just come up with this instead. Think about it...if Vanessa supposedly already knew she was on the Olympic team, what would be her objective saying that to Evelyn after the fact? What would she have to gain? I can't think of a single thing.

In reading the Star article, it sounds like it was said after the pairs SP so any number of women could have been in the room.

I’m not here to guess people’s motivations for their actions. Evelyn and a few others made it clear that they heard what they heard and quoted Vanessa. Either you believe she’s telling the truth or you don’t. That’s all I’m asking. Do you think she lied about this? If the answer is yes, then we can move on to motivations.

All this drama aside can you seriously whisper in Vanessa and Eric's ear to change the music for both programs? They can leave the choreography the same, just change the damn music. It can only help their scores.

Here's some critical thinking for you then. If someone has privately been assured in advance they're getting an assignment, and knows that assignment might not look justified based on their results to date - one way to make it look justified is to try to make your competitors have a bad performance. Then when your assignment is announced, it looks reasonable because your competitors don't look like they should get that assignment.
