I can't say I'm up to date on the calling rules... but points-wise they just dropped 6-7 points. And honestly, I'd love to see the justification for only -3 GOE on the Choreo Rhythm Step.

Music wise, what is this? Insane music mash-up. I don't see why it's necessary to have that many songs and cuts.

I'm curious to see where the Brits score, but I don't think the lead will be insurmountable, and a clean Chock & Bates in the FD would win overall.

Wow total shock gasp from the crowd as Madi and Evan fell. I don’t know it doesn’t feel like the program was working. Maybe it was cause they were thrown off by the fall but they seem under prepared. Though as they’ve proven before they can get it back as the season progresses.

I did love the .5 seconds of Nitty Gritty using choreo from the viral video.

Also glad Madison didn't fall on the lift just after the one she did - would have been far more dangerous.

There are so many cut it actually feels smooth.

Like lucky station surfing if you’re old enough the have had a transistor radio with a tuning knob. I didn’t hate it, but they do look undertrained.

Well... That RD could work but I'm still of the opinion they need to lose some of the music edits. At worse, they're giving FearGib a chance at being tied or close going into the FD.

I don't that's a fair comparison--Gregory and Petukhov are still together, still work together, and didn't just have a quickie US courthouse marriage. IIRC, they also got married in Russia so his family could see them together. I don't think you do all that just for citizenship. I'm sure citizenship was a factor in the quickness of it, but given their longevity after their skating career ended, it wasn't just a green card, rent-a-Russkie deal.

Wasn't there some really oogie, icky ice dancers from the early 00s or late 90s--she was 16 (American) and he was in his early 20s (Russian) that married? They put some questionable photos on social media IIRC. I remember the justified outrage on GoldenSkate and here.

Ted trying so hard to make 11 cuts of music sound innovative and like a good idea.
