I haven't posted here yet, because I've had a hard time thinking of what to say- so I think I'll just say I'm reading for updates and thinking positive thoughts. I hope all turns out well. It sounds like she is fighting, and that is good.

Thank you so much for the update! I have had two experiences with ICU and in both cases also experienced an amazing team of professionals. So glad Lee has such great care. Take care of yourself!

Thank you @Jerry for the update. My thoughts and prayers to you all.

My experience in ICU with my husband years ago was excellent and you are right it is hard to express the gratitude you feel for the
dedicated and skilled staff taking care of your loved one. Once my husband was discharged to rehab and to the road to recovery I sent
the ICU staff a big box of candy as a thank you.

Thank you for posting and keeping us informed when I know you have so many other things to handle. I'm sorry to hear about the setbacks, but glad they're outweighed by the progress.

I'm glad Lee is in a hospital where she is getting such amazing care. Sending positive thoughts to Lee and your family every day. I'm sorry you had more setbacks this weekend, but that they were recognized and dealt with so quickly. Hopefully the doctors can tell you if that is normal or if it something you have to continue to watch for in this period of recovery.

Big hugs to your family.

@Gerry thank you so much for taking the time to update all Lee's friends here at FSU. Sorry she gave you another scare but so happy to read things turned around yet again and Lee is doing better. Continued prayers for improvement every day for Lee. Hope you and the rest of the family/friends are taking good care of yourselves too. Sending hugs!

Wow, single, double, triple and quadruple wow. (Now, as a skating fan, how many times have I read quadruple--we fans abbreviate it to quad, but I must be getting old or tired because I had to look up the spelling.) The point is, Gerry, I am so happy that the nurses once again did an assessment and figured that something was not right, called in the surgeon, and all helped to get her back on the right path to healing. Sounds like Really really is in great hands.

ETA: Not sure if this post will go thru -- if it does, it probably will be a duplicate, but then it will mean double the good thoughts.

I found myself holding my breath as I read your post, Gerry. I'm so glad that Lee is getting such great care, I will continue to pray and send healing thoughts her way.
