He cannot be stripped of his title of Prince. He can be asked to leave the royal grounds entirely, but he has a lease and can refuse legally.

My expectation is that he will remove the HRH & Prince/Princess style/honor for anyone who is not a working royal. He may clarify that only children & grandchildren of a monarch & their spouses are entitled to the dignity of the HRH-Prince/Princess designation if they choose, as an adult, to enter a life of public service on behalf of the monarchy.Removing the title of Prince would involve King Charles issuing a new Letters Patent defining who is entitled to be called HRH or Prince/Princess (the current definition of HRH stems from the Letters Patent issued by George V in 1917). I think Charles is unlikely to do that, partly because he is more reluctant to act in general (hoping Andrew will do the right thing on his own?), and because it would open up a can of worms about removing other HRHs (Harry and Meghan for example, who are not supposed to be using their HRHs but did not have them removed, and even people like Beatrice and Eugenie who have, and use, HRHs but live private lives and are not working royals). I fully expect William will issue a new Letters Patent when he becomes king, though, possibly removing the HRH from all but the direct line of succession.

Prince William was mentored by QE2 who buried her head in the sand when it came to Andrew and other problems. It's hard to believe he would be radically different.I feel like I’ve heard this story before. They are going to take titles away from their family members when they are monarch.
But then they become monarch and don’t.
I guess it’s a good bargaining chip to keep the others behaving.![]()
Can council housing be far behind?Prince Andrew is reportedly in advanced talks with King Charles’s senior aides about moving out of his Royal Lodge home after a week in which his “peppercorn” rent tenancy has come under scrutiny.

Are rummage sales a thing in Britain? He can sell his personal belongings on the front lawn. Cash only.![]()

It ended ... in an establishment being formed for them in another country, remote and private, where, shut up together with little society, on one side no affection, on the other no judgment, it may be reasonably supposed that their tempers became their mutual punishment.

Juan Carlos now lives in private luxury in the UAE. It's been reported that apparently Andrew (and probably Sarah) have a similar offer but they're loathe to leave the UK because of their daughters and grandchildren.IMHO, PA and SF should quietly leave the country and live under the radar for several years. Maybe a nice beach area in India or Brazil?![]()
