I wish he would have stayed for the ladies SP (I'm sure he has things to do ). I really want to see him as a coach someday in the K&C. I loved watching Szolkowy in the K&C, all dressed up.

It's so sweet how he supports Liza. Mishin has created a little family in his group where skaters don't just see him as a coach, but he is like a father figure to them. Although he has his favourites (Plush and now Liza). I love, love, love everything Mishin since Urmanov's 1994 Lillehammer free skate.

As for Plush, I don't see him as a coach to be honest, but more as a commentator. Plus, he will never actually retire, will he?

I think it takes a certain type of person to become a coach. I am not sure Plushy has that, but I could be wrong.

He has his own school now. I don't know if he's super involved or just lending his name. From the pictures that lala has posted he seems to enjoy coaching young kids, but it could be that he doesn't have the personality to do that day in and day out for years, like Mishin. I don't know if he can give up the attention. But many skaters have said that he inspires them and makes them want to skate their best and that when he hypes you up you just know there is no option of making a mistake (Trankov, Lipnitskaya, Gerboldt)... so he has something that's translatable to coaching, I think.

He will be a good coach. The children adore him, they watch him as a God. He graduated as coach more than ten years ago ..and he really understands the figure skating .. always become true, if he predicted something. And I remember one of the famous American trainers's opinion in Sochi .. he said Plushy is on new level, perfectly understands what and why he does ...

I'm glad you like my updates. After Sochi I don't bring every news on him, because most of them are moments in civil life. ( Those are also very interesting, because he is interesting in general.) I upload the most interesting things and the news about his skating.

Secondly: I love Russia and I love the Russian people! They are the strongest people in the world, so strong and full of art at the same time.

I know the Russian women were very hardworker, were very strong everytime in the history. They were the real workwomen, they were the heroes of II. WW. etc. But I really think Yana is the new type of the women in Russia.
