Peppermint Patty Is Skating Again

I made a mistake.

The World Famous Crabby Skating Pro was first introduced in November, 1974, so he is a mere 47 years old.

Here's a link to the source of the information but don't go there if you want to remain unspoilered.

Below from that link is the brief unspoilered info:

The World Famous Crabby Skating Pro is one of Snoopy's alter-egos introduced to Peanuts comic strips on November 7, 1974.

Dressed in a fur hat and heavy coat, Snoopy is shown acting as a figure skating instructor during a lengthy storyline in which Peppermint Patty practices for a figure skating competition.

Wasn't skating coach Snoopy inspired by Mishin at some point? I think I might have read that somewhere.

Aww, memories! I still have the "She's a Good Skate Charlie Brown" book that I got back when I was in elementary school! If you're old like me you'll remember those old book sales from school, they'd send home a little flyer with books you could buy - you'd check which ones you'd like to buy and return it with your payment and a week or two later the books would arrive - it felt like Christmas. This was how we did it back then, we didn't have any Amazon! :D

This! My kids' elementary school still does the book fair. So much fun! I even saved some of my circa 1984 books in hopes that i could share them with a daughter one day. Daughter now reads a few of my oldie mouldies, and i read a few of her present day authors. Just like me and my Mom. 3 generations of avid readers.
