I don't recall thinking Vera was going to design a wedding gown for Dang. I'd have to read back through the thread to see my initial reactions. I'm not sure about the nature of Evan's former relationship with Vera. They always described it as being 'close friends.'

So where did Evan and Dang go for their honeymoon?

So is it your plan to show up every now and then in Evan threads to post bitter little comments that imply you know much even though you intend to say little? Or have we just been especially blessed because of the wedding?

Everyone “tells it like ‘it is’ but some people’s ‘it’ are different from yours. Plus, you talked about Evan putting his social media on private because people like you hounding him with their truths.

Saying your truth harshly and to the point where it bothers someone to the point where they put their social media on private sounds like bullying behavior to me. I’m sure a lot of people vandalizing people’s social media felt they were only telling their truth too and that it’s not their fault if the recipient can’t handle it. I’m sure lot of bullies say that. I mean really, what’s the point of hounding him on social media accounts and publicly attacking him here? I doubt it’s to warn Dang or anything.

That's a good question. You can answer that one, too.

Evan has never been popular on this board, so it takes some doing to give people here reason to defend him.
 
I really like Evan. Always have. Never understood the Evan hate. Speculating anonymously and throwing shade about a newly married skater’s sexuality on a skating board in a thread about his wedding celebration is just plain tacky and disgusting. What is wrong with people???

Happy for Evan. He is a nice guy, very unassuming. And he is a great public speaker. I covered his career for many years.

I didn't even notice Evan had done that! I can still see his account, and he still 'likes' my occasional replies or comments. Most recently I wished him a happy anniversary on his Olympic gold medal win. I wish Evan a lifetime of happiness with his bride.
