Peacock Subscription Discount

I canceled my subscription, but they didn't offer me a discount to stay. I think I can get the app for free with my Charter/Spectrum cable subscription though. I'll look into it before the GP series begins.

Same here i canceled my subscription a couple of months ago but no new offers to stay. Thanks for mentioning that Peacock was free with Spectrum i just activated it so now i'm good to go. Now i don't have to pay for Peacock for the skating season and the Olympics coming up. I love saving money. 👍

FYI, I just saw an article saying that Walmart+ members soon will have access to Peacock for free. I didn't even know that there was such a thing as Walmart+ but I figure there may be some people here who do and are members.

Also, my current annual subscription expires next month. I got a deal on it, but I'm not sure if I should let my subscription expire and hope for a new deal before I miss too many skating competitions. They are offering a renewal price that is good until my current subscription expires. It's $69.99 for the year. It's much more than I paid for my current subscription, but I'm wondering if maybe that's the best I can do. What do you think?

The skating season is starting soon. A lot of people are paying $6.99 a month which is more than $69.99 a year. We are paying $110 a year which was a deal at the time.

Yeah, I know. That's why my one-year subscription is up soon. The $69.99 just seems like a big hike considering that I paid $29.99 for my current subscription and they had that same deal earlier this year and even lower at some points last year. I really don't watch Peacock much beyond skating and the Olympics. But, I might just have to pay the $69.99. Everybody else should wait, though. I'm pretty sure they'll offer a great deal the week after I renew.

I was able to renew mine free this year via having an annual Instacart+ membership. (I’d realized that my Instacart membership is under a different email address than my original Peacock account was, so that’s why it worked.) If you have Instacart+, I’d suggest renewing Peacock via that method.

Last year I was able to jump on a $2.99/month plan that essentially covered just the skating season. Hoping for some similar deal, although of course I will end up paying whatever for the months of skating.

I just received an email from Peacock with an offer that I couldn't refuse. Peacock gave me a promotional code discount for a one-time annual fee of $69.99. It won't take affect for me until October 6th. I don't remember the exact amount, but after the discount, the next year will be around $109.99 per year. That's a savings of 40 dollars.

If anyone is interested, keep looking in your email for this offer from Peacock.

Oh, and this is the first time Peacock has ever offered me a discount since I've been subscribed to it which has been around 5 years or so.

ETA that there was a link to click on that sent me directly to my account page with the offer.

I just wanted to add that I watch Peacock on my laptop, and my subscription price went up to $10.99 per month which would actually be $131.88 per year if I didn't take the promotional code offer of $69.99 for one year. So, I just saved $61.89!

Even if you don't get an email, check your account and billing info. Given that a lot of us signed up for Peacock at the start of the televised skating season, many of us have subscriptions expiring soon. As a result, many of us have a $69.99 renewal offer on the billing page with a deadline for when that renewal offer ends.

I had no idea. Maybe this means that next year in September, I could have a renewal offer on the billing page. I'll be sure to check it out. Like I mentioned, I received this offer with a promotional code in my email. It was the first time I ever received that offer from Peacock. Who knows. Peacock might send another email next year.

Either way, I'll be sure to go in billing to see if there is an offer next September.

I went to my account settings on peacock.com and my sub is about to renew in a couple weeks at $169.99 for Premium Plus Annual (no ads) and I attempted to turn off the auto renew and was offered $59.99 for a year at the Premium Annual level (with ads). I honestly don't even watch peacock at all and the ISU has offering streams of so many time I am not sure if I will renew at all. Sometimes I can find a credit card cashback special so I am looking for that to sweeten the deal.

If anyone is a medical professional or first responder you can get premium for $3.99 a month.

Our Peacock subscription has ads and we do watch more than the ISU stream of skating on it and they are nothing compared to the ads on commercial tv. They are usually at the beginning of the show and maybe once in the middle. We always get the subscription with ads.

I just renewed Peacock at the Premium level for an entire year for $29.99. I agree, the ads are not nearly as bad as commercial TV.

When I went to cancel my plan, I was given an offer to renew at the Premium level for $2.99/mo for 6 months, so I took it. Can't complain about that. I'll deal with the price increase again in April.

Did you have to go to cancel it to get the offer? On my account page, it is still saying $69.99 to renew.

I canceled months ago and re-upped for $20 for the year! (Just figured it out.)

With all these price raises going on with various streaming services, I was worried I was paying more for streaming than cable used to be but I added it up and we are still at about 50% of what we were paying for cable. Most of that is that we pay for a lot of it via specials or for the year at once.
