Peacock Subscription Discount

I still have to the end of the month for my last subscription. I had to wait until the last month to use the promo code to setup billing for the next bill. My next bill at the end of the month will be the $39.99 for the upcoming year. My profile said I was on the $79.99 subscription but the note at the bottom said my next bill will be the $39.99

This is what the screen looks like after I put in the code. It doesn’t mention the next bill but says it will auto renew at 79.99.

Ohhh thanks!!! I missed that really cheap one before the Olympics since I knew all the gymnastics was on cable so didn't get it in time. I'll grab this one. :D

Wait, what? And I’m paying six or seven dollars a month… Can I quit and rejoin?

You can try if you have a monthly subscription. You might have a problem if you are in the middle of a month you paid for. I would guess that they are going to have this deal until at least Black Friday/Cyber Monday. So, maybe cancel now and hope that you can subscribe at a good rate later in the month after your current subscription ends?

You could just sign up with another email unless you are very invested in your "my stuff" content.

Yes it’s time for me to abort if it’s $20 for the year? Is that a special?

If I cancel now, that means I can’t see NHK and Finland, correct

Everything that is in my stuff right now I could write down and then include it in my new account but I just don’t know if it would recognize me as an existing customer with a different email

If you cancel now, you should be able to watch throughout the end of your monthly pay period, including any GPs. Your account info should have that date. Then, after that date, try signing up with the special.

Or, as others have suggested, if you have multiple credit cards and multiple e-mails, you can do what others suggested and sign up now for the new deal.

My Peacock annual plan was ending in 8 days. I put the above code in and it's giving me $19.99 until November 11, 2025. It has some language about first year only, but it means it's only that price for the next 365 days following whenever your current plan ends, not that it's only for new users.

Use a different email and pay with a different card. You're now a new customer 😁

Can I just ask a question before I do this

So if I cancel now in the middle of a month and I sign up later on today with a new email, a new credit card how would I sign onto my TV? How will it recognize which I am signing in with?

Does this mean it won’t apply to you since you’re already existing customer? Unless you do it I will do it which is cancel and re-sign up with new email and credit card.

Putting this here:

Yes. My Peacock is saying the same, and it's really freaking annoying. I don't think I'll get to all the dance and pairs. I should be able to go away for the weekend and watch at least some of it when I get home. But, I'm having to catch up by the end of Sunday.

Now it says event had ended. When you click on the event, it says replay available soon. Someone is up in the night.

That, plus some of the tiles for NHK are up but not all and not in order. Finally, shouldn't we be seeing tiles for sectionals sometime very soon?

Wednesday, Nov. 13 will be the first Senior or Junior event at Sectionals on Peacock - Junior Men SP at Pacific Coast.

I can post the Sectional viewing info in the "2024-25 U.S. Figure Skating Broadcast Schedule on NBC Universal & Peacock" thread here in TV Alerts when the schedules are finalized.
