Wish they would have gotten the level 4 in everything, but something to strive towards next season lmao.
She truly looked so happy at the end and that means more than the world record.
Now they need to do the same performance as the Olympics and the overall record will be theirs as well.
I think they have been pretty confident all season long and actually beat V/M at GPF.
At the OG they were quite remarkable in terms of nerves of steel and poise during their fateful SD and then their glorious FD.
What I hope to see in the future is that people, whether they like them or not, really look at them, what they do (their programs are not easy), their actual skating skills and talent without refering to V/M and implying that P/C are overmarked systematicaly. Forgetting also that P/C did win the FD at OG. It did show neither lack of confidence nor lack of incredible skill, quite the opposite IMO.
On another note I watched the B ESP Worlds SD and the commentator once again talked of course about their Oly SD and V/M and implied that they were favorites. Did anyone else hear the innuendos about the usual narrative (judges for P/C and against V/M) or is it me ? This is so getting old.
Actually it's him who talked about the odds being in favor of P/C and V/M pulling sg out of their bag. TBH the odds considering the scores all season were in their favor and if not for that dress well ... She otoh was very emphatic on the fact they beat the WR record and how exceptional they were and are. She also insisted on how well they skated under so much stress with the dress so she did counterbalance very well what he was saying. No mischief at all. They both love P/C from back to their Junior and Senior debut with the Woodkid FD where she said "they have that look like they are gonna go all the way to the top and so they should".
