I know, it's quite frustrating. Most skaters have announced their music, and now we've even got a taste from the Russian, Canadian and Chinese skaters. Plus my other fav team, Savchenko/Massot are equally secretive, that's my luck. Anyway, not much to do but wait

The wait is so loooong... usually they announce the music a bit before the first competition so it can't be long now! Fingers crossed!

V/M only announced music at their HPC but it confirmed the rumour floating around that also included P/C rumour so I think we know what the FD music is If you didn't see it there was an interview with Patrice at HPC and he seems very happy and positive about the programs of their top three teams and I think all three are skating the FDs they want to skate so it's going to be exciting for everyone to watch I think.

I really like that they don't announce their music until they perform the program. What good is useless speculation anyway? We know that it's something they really want to skate to, so we know they'll be invested and do everything to make it

One of the things I like best about P/C is that they have a clear vision of who they are and what they want to show, and don't care about normal conventions.

I can hardly motivate myself to watch this year due to the fact that the best ice dancers (skaters in general!) I have ever seen will, most likely, not win the Olympics because of politics utterly endemic in the sport.

Still, I'm sure they have come up with something magical this season and am hoping they will then step away from ISU competition. TBH, I'm fed up of them even being 'judged' as if anyone is qualified to do so.

I don't understand why anyone is writing P/C off before they've even begun competing, and the last thing I want to see is them step away from competition. P/C are just beginning to explore their potential, and they've already transformed ice dance as we know it. Why wouldn't we want them to stay and see what directions they can take the sport?

Yeah, seriously. This is a judged sport they entered into, so in fact the judges have a right to judge them.
Last season gave zero indication to me that they didn't have a chance to win gold at the Olympics. They made costly errors in the SD. They beat V and M by 3 points in the FD.
It's going to come down to levels and clean skates as it should.

EDIT : If they are as ready as this poster said, I wonder if it means that they chose their FD music early? Maybe they already knew last year what piece they wanted to do for this olympic season...
