Alexander König certainly is a good pairs coach, but at the moment his main job is in speed skating and according to Hocke and Kunkel skating conditions in Berlin are really bad (which is why they left Berlin), so I assume the Georgian pairs switching to König has similar reasons and it wasn't their big dream to suddenly move to Berlin.

I imagine it's a bit of a difficult transition for all Georgian skaters.

December 2013 was my first time winning nationals in senior category.

National Championships always brought me special kind of pressure... First few years it was for the title, even though it didn't decide about who is going to Europeans and Worlds, but still.. Just the title.. (I've been to Europeans and Worlds in 2011 and Worlds in 2012 ).

And after a few years it was more about being a great role model for youngers... Trying to do my best when they see me skating live, trying to show them that one competition doesn't define you. Trying to use this competition to try something new and to be a really good practice for the rest of the season.

Since 2013 I was on the top.. If it wasn't for covid year (when we didn't hold nationals) this one would be my 10th title. So proud of my long career.. Am I in the best shape ever? Nope. Am I still proud of my accomplishment? Absolutely.

And I am really happy to see youngers getting better and better, so there will be someone who will represent Slovenia in Championships when I decide to say my last farewell.
