So Ice Chips was a while ago .... but I finally wrote up a piece that included some of my own personal highlights from the show: https://adivinesport.com/2018/05/03/ice-shows-2018-highlights/. It's not a full review, just highlights.

I also took some videos while I was at Ice Chips. Mostly, they are just clips, but I do have the full-length recording of one of Ross Miner's numbers.

Ross Miner brought back, fittingly, his "New York State of Mind" program (one of my faves of his) at the Ice Theatre of New York's "Spring Unplugged" show last night -- clip from practice, filmed by Jordan Cowan (who also performed in the show): https://www.instagram.com/p/Bi6JOLPlSnC/?taken-by=oniceperspectives
3 clips - Ross' intro at the show, his footwork sequence & closing spin: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bi5ow-Oj7j-/?taken-by=michlmint
Ross posed for a nice photo at Sky Rink yesterday: https://twitter.com/michlmint/status/997250597903626240

Mariah Bell is not listed as a guest skater on this page but, based on her IG, she is performing at the Skatium ice arena in Skokie, Illinois through Sunday: https://www.skokieparks.org/node/10004

Info on Jennifer Wester's May 19th performance tomorrow in Dallas at 8 pm (venue change to indoors): https://www.mydso.com/buy/tickets/breaking-shadows
Multimedia artist and professional figure skater Jennifer Wester explores how light and shadow affect movement in even their most monochromatic forms in this whimsical world-premiere performance. Wester does the unimaginable as she transforms a Dallas parking lot into a magical ice skating rink, utilizing synthetic ice, lighting and projection while performing against an original music composition of sounds harvested from her own skates.

Re-posting here - thanks @Ican'twalkonice for sharing your clip of Mariah Bell's "Stand By Me" & her fun, upbeat second solo (with "Mariah" in the lyrics) in the Skokie Skatium's show! :)
Once again, videoing skaters is hard to do and it shows, but this way I'll never forget this evening. It was composed of mostly young kids, with her as the headliner. I REALLY ENJOYED the whole show, with the younglings and their families crazily cheering them on. There were a total of five shows over four days. Each show was packed with over 600 people. Check with your local rinks! Two weeks ago, in a very similar situation, I also saw Courtney Hicks, met her, and got an autograph. She is a long time FB friend. :)

Before the Skokie Parks link was taken down in my post above, I saw that the final show on Sunday afternoon was listed as sold out.

"Two weeks ago, in a very similar situation, I also saw Courtney Hicks, met her, and got an autograph."
@Ican'twalkonice, did you see Courtney perform in Jordan Moeller's benefit show near Chicago last month? I forgot to post Jordan's message of gratitude afterwards: https://www.instagram.com/p/BiTO0h9l5CE/?taken-by=jomosk8
This year's #OSAT2018 was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who made it out to the show last weekend. It is truly incredible to see all of the continued support for this amazing cause. With your help, we were able to raise over $9500 in one night! If you weren't able to make the show, but still wish to contribute, you can donate online here: http://cosil.convio.net/OneSkate2018
I had posted about Jordan's annual fundraiser in the first post of this thread:
7th annual ONE SKATE AT A TIME benefit show, organized by Jordan Moeller
Saturday, April 28th at 7-8:30 PM at the Southwest Ice Arena in Crestwood, Illinois

So I thought Skate It Forward put on another great show this year! I took lots of notes on the show itself but I'll save that for my FSO report which I will hopefully have posted sometime tomorrow. We got home a bit late tonight so I wasn't about to type that up while being tired, LOL  Anyway, I got a couple of halfway decent pictures that I'll share tomorrow as well and I thought everyone did a great job. You could tell Gracie was new to this whole emcee-ing thing but she sounded like she was having fun and she said being part of this show was one of the most fun things she's done in her career which I thought was sweet. There was a really good crowd there too which I think the skaters all enjoyed since they were loud and cheered great for everyone. I'm glad they brought this show back again and I hope they continue it for many years to come! :cheer:

BTW-My friend who had never seen skating live before seeing this show today LOVED everyone. She said, "Its way more impressive and big when you see it live" which is so true! The TV kind of dilutes it down and you really don't get a sense of the speed and jump sizes unless you see it all in person. She had a great time and I think I may have created a new skating fan out of her, LOL :biggrinbo
