Henry IV declared himself king, sent the actual king (Richard II) to prison, and very likely had him starved to death. And I'm not sure Richard even committed any crimes to warrant any of that!

Maybe, but maybe not. It would likely depend at least in part on whether English courts would have any jurisdiction over anything and the people implicated could be brought to justice there. Also, there aren't many bigger fish to fry than the King's brother.Maybe I have watched too much Law & Order but couldn’t the police use these charges to pressure Andrew to “spill the beans” on the other allegations involving crimes against women and girls or serve serious prison time?

).And can they be prosecuted in an English court, which I noted was why the police and prosecutors might not be able to get Andrew to cooperate? Certainly not Trump, unless they want to start World War III. I might be wrong, but I don’t think that they do.The President of the United States of America is a pretty big fish, along with various heads of states and captains of industry and people with vast amounts of power and influence

I heard on the news Andrew is under house arrest.........at least he has a great place to be under house arrest!
Apparently, nothing will be done until after the investigation is concluded .... and imo, if charges are being brought against Andrew, the proposal should wait until after any trial.Government considers removing Andrew from royal line of succession https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1kgv837wvdo
I don’t think they would get any appearances anyway after their mother’s emails in the Epstein files. The girls (as young adults) were used to show Epstein associates around the palaces, and apparently Beatrice and her mother wanted to help redeem Epstein’s reputation after his first stint in jail. Obviously we don’t know if that last bit truly happened; we only have Fergie’s email saying it did. But I think as more of these emails are drip fed out in the press there will be less acceptance and goodwill towards the princesses in the public’s eyes, whether that is fair or not.I read that William is considering ousting Beatrice & Eugenia from the family. Sins of the father..... William comes off (to me) to be a petty & jealous person. It's like he can't stand for any other family member to get more attention than he &/or Kate. Their family is so small now that they could use the cousins for appearances whenever they are in the UK. But no...... If William is that strait-laced he needs to look at his own father who publically committed adultery for years & had a somewhat checked past in other ways.
Why not? There is no cloud over them.Practically speaking, though, they can't do appearances with this cloud over them.
Whether or not they like to avoid it, the Princesses will be a center of attention and not in a good way. They will be asked about their parents and Epstein and what they knewWhy not? There is no cloud over them.
