I am no expert on this but I looked here: https://www.olympicchannel.com/en/events/2018-11/full-calendar and don't see anything for October or November.Does anyone know if the Olympic Channel will be showing GP events? Because that listing is kind of sparse.
Beginning with Skate America, NBC Sports Group will present an unprecedented 80+ hours of coverage, including 30+ hours of figure skating coverage on NBC, with an additional 50+ hours airing on NBCSN. Additional programming plus encores of NBC and NBCSN figure skating coverage will be presented on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA
"
ETA: I missed seeing the "Additional programming" at the beginning of the sentence ... maybe there's still hope?

Being the post-Olympic season, I would not be surprised if what's listed is all we get.

I’m starting to think that the majority of live coverage will be via the Figure Skating Pass on NBC Sports Gold. I’ll be on the edge of my seat waiting 7-10 days for my service providers to push out the remaining October programming schedules. Not that I have anything against watching via Gold, but I’m spoiled with my TiVo capabilities and prefer broadcast to stream when I have a choice.
I think the "additional programming" referenced in the press release probably means the same type of coverage we saw last year. Otherwise, what's the point of the Olympic Channel. They don't have that many sports to cover.
It looks very much like NBC is pushing the Figure Skating Pass and that is the only way we will see extensive coverage of the Grand Prix. I will probably wait for youtube videos.
I'm sure NBC will try to block Youtube videos, as you say. However, there are many other countries broadcasting the Grand Prix. Other than Skate America (which NBC is showing a lot of) the rest of the Grand Prix should have videos uploaded quickly. I always like watching the Eurosport videos anyway.I'm really hoping this is not accurate.

If NBC is pushing the pass this much, I think they'll be aggressive about blocking Youtube uploads. Just when I finally have Olympic Ch plus unlimited recording through YoutubeTV, and I really don't want to pay for yet another streaming service.
I just wish my cable provider would offer the Olympic Channel. Boo hiss.
This is the figure skating schedule for NBC and NBCSN Note: this is not for NBC Sports Gold.I'm really hoping this is not accurate.

I just checked this link: https://www.teamusa.org/olympic-channel-broadcast-schedule which laviemn provided above and programs from SA are now on the schedule. The programs on this schedule have not been added to the broadcast schedule for NBC/NBCSN.
I looked at my Xfinity guide and the Olympic Channel is airing the Youth Olympics, some live Archery and marathons up to the Saturday of Skate America.According to this schedule, all the Olympic Channel broadcasts, including the short programs, are being aired the week after Skate America.

Good news. I know some fans will be upset they don't get to see it live on the Olympic Channel. It doesn't matter to me as long as it is shown. I can never watch live anyway. So now it looks like NBC is still pushing the Figure Skating Pass for those who want to watch live.According to this schedule, all the Olympic Channel broadcasts, including the short programs, are being aired the week after Skate America.
