No, they haven't decided. I did have them penciled in, yesterday, as likely to retire based on her reaction when they finished their FS, but their comments in the Mixed zone afterward have made me reevaluate that notion. I'll edit my post based on them probably staying in at least one more season - especially since she has Swiss citizenship and Euros are in Lausanne next year.

I don't see the GP host feds going any further down the SB list below Chaeyeon (SB 42) to award any GP assignments apart from host fed spots. And, of course, any one or all three of Glenn, Tennell & Hendrickx could decide to go one more season and that will take away some of the spots I've tentatively assigned.

I'm sure they're on the respective radars of the USFS and Skate Canada, but the same can be said if a lot of other zkaters/teams. I was just reminded in the Canadian Pairs thread that Bombardier/Mimar are still together. I basically just wanted to make sure to note which skaters in the SB Top 75 could be in the mix for GP host spots, not that ant host spots would go only to those skaters or no one else.

Maybe? Maybe not? He isn't on the SB Top 24 nor will he be in the WS Top 24 when they're reset at the official end of the season. Currently he's at SB 44 and I doubt any non-host fed skaters that low will get a GP, but maybe if Finland decides that Lindfors or Suntsev shouldn't get a host spot - I think Lindfors has to move up to seniors this year since he just turned 19 this month but his SB is 194.16 from Golden Spin & Suntsev's is even lower, so who knows what the Finnish fed will do.

I'm on the fence as to whether the GP host feds will screw teams like Harris/Chan, Val/Kazimov, Bekker/Hernandez & Reitan/Majorov out of any GP assignments while ensuring that teams like Lagouge/Caffa & Neset/Markelov get 2 GPs straight out of the gate. I think ReiMaj are more likely to get a GP than the others simply because I'd bet the Finnish fed will invite them; and I tend to think HarChan will get 1 GP, which leaves ValKaz and BekHern as the two most likely to be left out cold - or they both get 1 and the host feds let the chips fall where they may for LaCaf and NesMark with 1 GP each.

I've seen some remarks on X that state Gubanova has said she will compete next season. Hadn't heard anything about Aoki. I'm sure these projected lists will change as more skaters make decisions about their competitive futures in coming weeks.

Pretty sure Romsky is done but I don't believe he's made a formal announcement. He would certainly get 2 GPs if he doesn't retire, though I wouldn't bet on him getting the 2nd Canadian spit for Worlds next year. We've all seen how chaotic Canadian Nats can be when it comes to the men's results.

I thought they would end up with a spot later after someone withdrawing. I also thought about that they are likely for GP Finland, Nikolaj Majorov has been invited there before.

Last season was tough for ice dance with the addition of both FBCiz and the Shibs getting 2 GPs each - there were a several teams who normally would have received 2 GPs but only got 1 (WolfTsar, PateBye, NesMark, etc) and no one outside the SB or WS Top 24 who wasn't from a host fed had a prayer of getting even 1 GP. The post-Olympic season is somewhat different from other seasons during the Olympic cycle because there are more teams high on the SB or WS lists who decide to retire or split and that opens up more opportunities for teams in the 25-36 range to get at least 1 GP assignment.

As far as the WS Top 24 - theoretically if Skate Canada notifies the ISU of FabAyer's split and have them removed from the WS then, yes, HarChan would move up. We won't know for sure until the WS are reset once the final competition of the season is complete (end of May) whether or not FabAyer have been removed.
