..as noted, she competed on the Junior Grand Prix this year. The interview linked is over 2 years old.

I don't pay attention to Juniors. 🤷 But also I was hoping for more details. Thanks, @Sylvia for all those links!

2012 World pairs bronze medallist Narumi Takahashi has come out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community at a Pride House Tokyo event.

Just says Narumi, not "medalists".
Allezfred did use the singular verb "has come out" ;) (and Narumi Takahashi's partner in 2012 is not Japanese).

Her machine translated quote from the article:
Takahashi said, "I think I'm a Q who doesn't belong in the LGBT category." Q is defined as "queer" who has a sexual orientation/gender identity that does not fall under L (lesbian), G (gay), B (bisexual), or T (transgender), or "whose sexual orientation or gender identity is undefined." refers to questioning.

I live across the street and in the neighborhood of a few of Hollywood celebrities from this era and my mom was always into tab Hunter she loved him and I’m watching this video on him now.

his first boyfriend was a figure skater Ronnie Robertson. They mentioned it around the nine minute mark, does anybody have any background on him?

I actually just finished watching the rest of the video and he must’ve been boyfriends with this figure skater for a while because around the 18 minute mark they mention he goes on an ice-skating vacation with his boyfriend and that was well after he got the job that James Dean, and Paul Newman tested for but did not get. He was already a Warner Bros. star now.

Out gay figure skaters win two medals at 2025 world championships, with one making history

The six out skaters at the worlds showed their pride, poise and talent, including a remarkable medal to end a 31-year drought.

It was largely a success for the six out LGBTQ figure skaters at this weekend’s world championships in Boston, with one athlete helping his country win a medal for the first time in 31 years.

Gay skaters helped their teams take the silver and bronze in ice dancing, with Canada’s Paul Poirier and Piper Gilles finishing second and Great Britain’s Lewis Gibson and Lilah Fear finishing third. Poirier and Gibson are both gay.
