Thant was fun! I like GoverWilson-French - they have a good presence on the ice.

Not bad from Kalaganis/Deveau -- they have good energy and decent presentation.

ETA: Kaitlyn tries to tease out some of Ted's knowledge of disco. Ted apparently has none.

KalDeveau a noticeable improvement in smoothness and speed over GoverWil-French. Enjoyed a lot.

Anjou's headband and flip are really cute, but they look more early-to-mid-'60s than disco-era.

Rachel Martins / Juel Kowalczyk
Disco dance moves were quite good - some of the ice dance elements were a bit shaky.

I believe Gans/Liu are the first team Kaitlyn's had anything critical to say about. I wonder if someone told her during the break to tone down the gushing!

Oh my goodness, Charlie Anderson's a real live disco ball. Which is ironic because they're one of the very few teams so far who haven't skated to disco.

Back in time for the last 2 flights. Missed Gans/Liu but am now settled with my cup of green tea. Let's dance ...

Awww ...... if Stevie singing Superstition doesn't get you dancing in your chair, I don't know what will. I loved Charlie and Cayden's funky routine. And, I loved her dress. I know it had a LOT going on with the one-sleeve, belt, etc ... but I LIKED it. Well done.

Kravets/Dotzert -- first half really strong and good levels; second half a little weaker. They looked overjoyed to survive their twizzles. :) Overall they make a really nice impression, and the TES looks good, at least for the moment.

Caranducs a little cautious, but smooth and mature. Whoops, he almost topples over on his ending pose.

Someone ought to to stick Shawn Rettstatt in a room and blast disco at him until he rethinks some things.

I don't think Victoria had any idea how much Andrei was STRUGGLING on the closing pose ... LOL. Her twizzles were kind of a mess but there were some really nice moves in that RD as well.

I've only been listening so far - how many Bee Gees programs have we had??

A few so far. It works for those of us (me) who say "Gotta love it." For others, maybe not so much.

Stevie's "Superstition" had me dancing by far the most so far though.

My goodness, some of these junior dancers look like babies to me. Soooooo young. I was there once upon a time. I seem to recall it was really fun.

Kind of rooting for Gauthier/Thieren here, because I felt like they wuzrobbed at Challenge.

So I'm sitting here thinking s'thing like electric-era Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones. Are they all terrified to do s'thing a little bit edgy?! (It's a rhetorical question :( )

Great job! Twizzles a bit rough, but that seems to be par for the course today, and the rest of the elements looked very nice. I'm glad the music issue didn't throw them off. If I'm going to nitpick, Summer's arm movements could be sharper, and she needs to work on her expression in the "Hopelessly Devoted" part -- she's trying to look wistful but ends up looking bored. Still, what a long way she's come in dance in just a short time. Into the lead -- good for them.
