We need a good sage ceremony to clear out all the bad spirits invoked by that blinged out Les Mis program.

I also thought Lithuanian girl was expressive for her age. Nice score and she’s happy!

ETA: where is @Karen-W for this excruciating costume on Gao?

On the phone with the employment agency through whom I'm starting a 3-month temp contract assignment on Monday trying to figure out why I've been shipped & received a laptop, docking station, keyboard & headset from the company with "Remote Access Set-Up Instructions" when the job requisition stated it was on-site and the two people I interviewed with also stated it was an on-site position. I'm fully prepared to work on-site though not relishing the commute or the general hassle and would be thrilled if the company decided after the offer was extended & my background check cleared, etc, to make me remote like all of the permanent staff as mentioned by the person I believe will be my manager.

ETA - nope, it's not remote, and I have to bring the equipment that was shipped to me to the office on Monday. I had hope, for all of an hour, lol.

I thought the Lithuanian girl's dress was quite pretty. The Chinese girl... Well, it was unfortunate, but not nearly as offensive as the RD costumes for Alicia Fabbri or Diana Davis, so my bar is set rather low this morning, lol.

Pretty good for Kaoruko overall, but bummer about the lutz fall. Really looked like she had it at first.

Ferlin: pretty good for a Polish skater. Needs more core strength to hold onto and check out her landings a little more smoothly. Nice skate for the home country!

Final ice resurfacing of this event is underway before the final group.

Tiernan

pitched forward on landing of 3t-2t and just eeked out the double, she patiently approaches her jumps, which gives her a chance of saving them even if they're a little off. Not a great toe day for her. A little wobbly on her spiral in choreo sequence, too. Some nice basics, program just got away from her here

Whyyyyyy would you use a Gladiator cover singer, when Lisa Gerrard is a generational talent? Especially when the cover singer doesn't know the words to Gerrard's invented-language song, and goies "la la la" for half of it?

Beautiful 3A-2T combo from Sophie Joline. Great height on the axel.

Pretty good on the whole from SJ. Some rough landings, but she finished with TES nearly 20 points ahead. She seemed to be really trying to take her time.

Von Felten

throwaway choreo to begin into good 3a-2t, 4s with skiddy landing, 3a, beginning feels very much like an empty men's program, but she starts to perform once the big jumps are over, 3z-2a-2a exited the last jump quickly; stepped out of 3z, more good than bad, though some troubles maintaining the jump excellence through the whole program, interpretation got better and better as it went

Well, both of Sophie Joline's 3As looked very good today. 4S looked < to me - Mark is saying it was called clean, okay then; bit messy on her last two jumping passes, but she has a reasonable chance of winning today, IMO, given she's only 6 points out of the lead.

Dibbern

waltzy swooping movement, 2a, 3z-3t (would look at that edge), 3r, lovely security in her jumps, good lift and plenty of time to complete the rotation and end with a strong exiting edge, 3z-2a-2t, layback spin kinda ground to a halt, don't think she should have ended with that element. Great skate!

Nice program from Elisabeth Dibbern. This will be interesting to see how she scores. I'm wondering if the 4 point lead she had over Sophie Joline will be enough to keep her ahead overall.

I would really love it if Dibbern could make it to the JGP final.
I don't think it's possible for both Elisabeth & Sophie Joline to make the JGPF since they both had bronze at their first JGPs they each pretty much need gold here to go.
