I see that the ISU appears to have a new initiative where they are charging to view the 2025 World Synchro Championships rather than putting them up on the YouTube channel:

This is being done in cooperation with SolidSport, the same group that has been providing fee-based video of some of the international competitions.

One wonders if there will be a "season pass" possibility for next season...

I’d happily pay for an offer from the ISU where you pay a fee and can reliably see everything from everywhere...

My friend and I spent 45 hours in a hotel room in Sweden to get a live stream to work due to geoblocking, in the end I paid a whole month for a VPN to see the German stream.

That would be great! If they can just keep the videos alive for longer than Peacock!
Well, on YT, with a VPN, you can still access past competitions that are geo-blocked here in the US. Last night I re-watched the entire women's final flight from Friday.

But, I wouldn't mind seeing all the Challengers available through one subscription on SolidSport rather than paying a hefty fee each time & not having a stream every time.

So what's to say the subscription fee will provide any more coverage than we were able to get for free this year? Some events could still be geo-blocked in some countries. This may just be a way to gain some revenue from the rest that had been free.

(ETA - boy I'm really leaning toward potential negatives in my posts today :()
