Gabby was there and WD.I might have to get my gun out if they don't
Did Gabbie withdraw? I thought she was never there? But there was 3 cdn girls on isu site yesterday
Is Skate Canada obligated to replace Choi with a Korean skater? Here are other possibilites (the USA/JPN/RUS girls are excluded since they have max spots):
Eunsoo Lim
Hanul Kim
So Hyun An
Kailiani Crane
Matilda Algotsson
Viveca Lindfors
I'm really hoping I get to watch Lim! Or maybe Kailani also. Please make it happen SC!
She was already on the original entries.

Wonder what is going on.... she really didn't seem happy at US Classic, barely looked at her coach in the Kncry... poor girl seems to struggle...Gabby was there and WD.
Oh girl!
-post of the day!
Both Mallet & Pineault are in - the Skate Canada announcement on the withdrawals and the replacements: https://skatecanada.ca/2018/10/lark...man-withdraw-from-skate-canada-international/
Aren’t these host spots though? They were Canadian spots filled by Canadian athletes...Mallet's SB is higher than Kailani's, so that's acceptable. But Pineault is considerably lower on both SB and WS lists.
If Kailani doesn't get one of these spots I swear....
Swear what? That you will lobby Ice Skating Australia to start hosting a Grand Prix?Mallet's SB is higher than Kailani's, so that's acceptable. But Pineault is considerably lower on both SB and WS lists.

Well then. I guess we get to see what the world team will look like....

If I were part of the Canadian fed, right now I'd be promising Kaetlyn Osmond a car, a pony, a lifetime supply of chocolate, anything to come back in time for Worlds. I'm not saying the other ladies don't have promise, but promise isn't going to help them keep Worlds spots. Even if Gabby is much better by then, it would be a heavy burden on her shoulders.
Yes. I don’t get why @misskarne is confused as she knows the rules. The two Canadians were withdrawn and Skate Canada (the organization) is acting completely within the rules by replacing their own host picks.

Fine, I forgot about that. I still think it's stupid and unbalanced.
There are two spots left. She better get one of them.
Eunsoo Lim has been passed over so many times, I really hope she gets a spot, I also find it a bit frustrating how Hanul Kim who was 13th at Olympics and then 15th at Worlds doesn't have a single spot yet.
All the more reason for a host fed. to pick her!Hanul just finished 10th at Finlandia scoring 153. Not sure if she might be recovering from an injury or something, but seems she wouldn't factor at a GP anyway.
I don't think anybody was under the impression Canada would keep three spots this year after Kaetlyn announced she was sitting it out. That's not really the goal, because it's impossible.I can't see how Skate Canada will maintain three spots in Saitama for Montreal 2020, with Daleman and Austman struggling, and Osmond out.
