In the best shape of their lives: The 2025 MLB thread

Last night was a very exciting Jays game! I'm very happy to have made it to 7 games this year. But today and tomorrow I am going to be the biggest Orioles cheer leader LOL please can they just take one game from the Yankees to take the edge off? I'm not just saying that because I have a commitment Sunday and won't be able to watch the final game of the season :ROFLMAO: Would love to see the Jays clinch the division today!

STILL not dead yet!!! :cheer2:

It all comes down to game 162 tomorrow and if you believe in the whole poetry of sports thing, here's a fun fact: Tomorrow will be exactly 15 years to the DAY since the last significant post season clinching moment for my Reds (they clinched the NC Central for the first time in 15 years on Sept. 28th, 2010, their last NLC title was 1995, so apparently they like this whole 15 years thing, LMAO  ). No matter what happens tomorrow, I am so freaking proud of this team. The hunt continues..... :D

I will direct that wish doubly towards the Marlins (who are actually playing the Mets)....my guys are up in Milwaukee, LOL  :D

You guys have the tiebreaker on the Mets, don’t you? I still want the Reds in!
Yes, we own the tie breaker with the Mets and that worked to our benefit today since sweeping Milwaukee is not an easy thing to do and the Reds lost their game about 20 minutes before the Mets-Marlins game ended, LMAO

MY GUYS ARE IN!!! :cheer: I wish they could have done it by winning their game today but they did take the series from the Brewers this weekend, which they haven't done for a while, so they have some good things to hold onto from this series even with the loss. I am SO INSANELY proud of those guys and no matter what happens next, this has been an awesome season and I'm super excited to see some October baseball! :cheer: :biggrinbo :rollin:

Happy that I have some other teams in the post season to root for this year too....I felt like I had no one to root for last season, LMAO

Reds did well beat out the Mets. Better luck next year!

I wish the Brewers were facing the Padres, and not the Cubs but that'show the ball bounces.

My childhood faves the Tigers are in, too! A wealth of riches.

Super annoying how all the playoff games are spread out on a variety of pay channels. :(

I just got home from the Jays game. I've been to dozens of games in my life but this is my first post season game. I can't put into words what a different atmosphere this game was. It's unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life and it was worth every penny I spent on that ticket! If the Jays make it to the ALCS and Bo Bichette is able to return I will do my best to make it to one of those games! GO JAYS GO!

Good lord my Phillies suck in the post season. Or I should say, the offense does, since the starting pitching both games has been awesome. Kind of unfair that the Dodgers get to have 13 pitchers on their roster, since Shohei is listed as DH instead of pitcher, but is being used as a pitcher as well.

Wow, Phillies really made it close.

And the Brewers get it right back!!!!

Gave up a 3 run homer in the top of the 1st, got a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 1st.
