So was I. I first saw the news on Reddit and I immediately googled to check for other sources because I didn't want it to be true.

She was amazing and I can't remember a time where I wasn't aware of her and her work. Even though I didn't see any of it really outside of Home Alone until I was older. Definitely going to dig out my copy of Best in Show to watch. It's an ensemble sure, but she's amazing in it.

I got one minutes before I had to play for a funeral at the church where I work. The woman who died was exactly the same age as Catherine O'Hara - 71.

Hmm what I’ve been reading is that she couldn’t breathe or was having difficulty breathing so she was rushed from her home in Brentwood to a hospital and passed away there.

From my Facebook feed, it appears that several of my friends and acquaintances have had lovely interactions with Catherine O'Hara over the years. This one is hard.

This is one is a real kick in the stomach. It feels like Canada lost their mom. Incredibly heartbroken and gutted over her passing. To say she will be missed is an understatement.
