In Memoriam

Ken Dryden died from cancer last night, at the age of 78.

He was first an all star hockey goalkeeper for the Montréal Canadiens, but he was so much more.

He became a lawyer during his active hockey career studying at the best law school in the country at the time, McGill University, he was a writer, a Member of Parliament of Canada, a lecturer.

He was brilliant and calm and the chaotic world we live in, is worse off today for his passing.

Comrades in arms, they died within days of each other.

Kiss my Grits! RIP!

One little known fact is that Polly coached Dustin Hoffman in 'Tootsie', or so I read.
True. And she appeared in the same cast as my relative in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in the early 1990s.

So sad, I thought he'll live for quite some years to come, that he would easily reach a hundred
so many great films to remember

Claudia Cardinale died R.I.P.
I loved so many films with her, my favourite is still Once Upon A Time In The West followed by The Leopard
Interview from 2013
