Ethel Kennedy has died at the age of 96. Sad that in her final years there was such a rift between her children and RFK Jr.
She had a difficult life. So many deaths in her family! Losing her husband at a young age, losing children is so hard! She overcame every challenge.

Tmz has a lot of grizzly details. Apparently he had acted erratically at the hotel. Not going to post the link bc they also included photos of the body. Ugh.

He's had a chaotic last few years. I feel sorry for his son, there's no chance to repair a relationship now.

OH NO! omg Mitzi Gaynor was my twitter buddy at one point! she was so sweet. as she sold off her Mackie originals each time she downsized, they were mostly bought up by drag queens. she followed every queen that bought a dress from her and was so kind all the time. Rest in Power!

Way too young—My friend fell 12 feet in July. Just 12 feet: Somehow he both crushed his spine and broke ribs and had a severe concussion. He’ll never walk again. You think Liam might have broken an arm or a leg but we are so fragile.

Third floor in Argentina means three stories above the ground floor (so American fourth floor). Payne fell 45 feet onto a courtyard. There's not a great chance of surviving that kind of fall unless you land on something soft, like snow.

Anything above 30 feet gets extremely dangerous.

Back to Payne, he had "pink cocaine" (a dangerous cocktail of drugs) in his system, and there are ongoing investigations about whether any of the hotel employees are complicit in his death by providing him with drugs. :(

Garr died Tuesday of multiple sclerosis “surrounded by family and friends,” said publicist Heidi Schaeffer. Garr battled other health problems in recent years and underwent an operation in January 2007 to repair an aneurysm.
Her big smile and off-center appeal helped land her roles in “Oh God!” opposite George Burns and John Denver, “Mr. Mom” (as Michael Keaton’s wife) and “Tootsie” in which she played the girlfriend who loses Dustin Hoffman to Jessica Lange and learns that he has dressed up as a woman to revive his career. (She also lost the supporting actress Oscar at that year’s Academy Awards to Lange.)
I loved Teri Garr in Tootsie.
