How to disable my account

Hi all,

I'm trying to go on an internet cleanse. It's been pretty straight forward deleting social networks to remove the temptation to look at them.

FSU is my last big internet addiction which I am trying to kick.

I can't seem to find a way to remove my account (so I can't be tempted to log back in).

Is there any way to disable my account so I can't use it any more?

lol this isn't an attempt at some kind of dramatic exit. But I just am needing to find a way to disable as FSU doesn't seem to have that option built into the profiles.

I'm sure a lot of people understand when I say that too many hours when I should be doing other things have been spent clicking through here and wittering away!

I just think to myself that had I not spent half the morning clicking around on here, I could have done a whole water colour painting or got more work done on my sewing. And look I'm still posting! ?

I think some enforced cold turkey is the best option, honestly.

When I want to take a break from FSU (or any other website) I sign out of my account on all my devices. That way I'm less tempted to respond to other people, and if I'm not taking part in any discussion I'm less tempted to check on what's going on.

Maybe that is a better idea. I suspect I might regret disabling my account when the Olympics come around next year.

I guess I am in the highest tier of addiction. I love FSU and would not know what to do without it. Of course I do plenty of things like take my dog to the park or watch shows/movies on TV. Can't say I do much housecleaning, however (having a bad hip and back doesn't help).

First thing I do in the day once I've made my morning coffee is check what's up on the board!
