I hate to put this news in what should have been a celebratory thread but this happened specifically at a Lunar New Year celebration:

I was listening to NPR yesterday and The Splendid Table interviewed 2 Chinese and and Vietnamese-American about lunar new year food traditions. It was very interesting how they differed and how all three women had gone looking for research into their family traditions for this important feast.

I thought about @VGThuy because you have both Vietnamese and Chinese traditons to blend into one for your family.
